MFT Dienamics~Cofee? Tea?

HEre is my card that I made using the NEW MFT Dienamics! There are THREE coming on the 5th of May.... THREE DID YOUHEAR ME???? THREE DIES!!!!! WAHOOO!!!!!!!

I received the Scalloped Scallops in my VIP Kit as a Giftie from the OH SO Generous Kim from MFT!!!!!

I used some Velvet paper that I purchased at I {heart} Papers in Honey and Chocolate, some MFT Ribbon and Glittered Garnishments and PTI Kraft paper. I stamped WTG Cofee? Tea? twice on DP's, one was cut out and mounted onto White paper, then I cout THAT out and mounted it onto the "wallpaper" DP. Mounted THAT onto MFT Hot Fudge CS and viola! INSTANT YUMM!!!!! LOL

These Dies are going to KILL ME!!!!! 8) In case you didn't hear me the first couple times... THERE ARE THREE OF THEM COMING ON MAY 5TH!!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!

WSC K.I.S.S. ~~ Sweet Love~KJ

This week at the MFT WSC (weekly Stamp Challenge) is Keep it Simple Stamping (KISS)!!!! Although I tend to make "simple" cards compared to others when I'm supposed to make them "Simple" it really boggs me down, however this one I think turned out CA-UTE! Of course how could it not when I'm using one of the Pure Innocence girls... "Make Mine a Double" is the name of this cutie!!!

My Minds Eye-Penny Lane is the DP paired with some MFT Ribbon, some of Jody's Boosters and this card is DONE! :)

Vintage Card

Here is my attempt at a Vintage Card. I joined a swap at SCS and the theme is Vintage. This stamp immediately popped into my head, it's a stamp I bought from my FABBY GABBY .... Impression Obsession L4299 Lottie Collage is the name of the stamp. I stamped it on Pure Silk Watercolor Paper sold by MFT. This is the 2nd time I've used this paper and LORDY ME!!! IT ROCKS!!!! Seriously, deep vibrant colors and pools up and lets you push it around... LOVE IT!!!! I then took out my ANTIQUE shaped scissors, you know the ones that your family bought you for Christmas, come in a spiny holder? Yea, those, used the deckle edged ones and trimmed up the edges. I brought out my Trusty T!m Holtz inks in Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Fired Brick. I used a TH Fragment and a stamp from Anna Griffin that I rescued from my garbage pile as it looks TH-ish, stamped in Archival ink, used glossy accents and secured it to a piece of TH Paper. I then dug in my stash-o-ribbon and grabbed this YUMMY ribbon from MFT from the Kitchen Collection. Some unk DP, some brass brads from M's. Then I needed a flower. Well, you may or may not know my FIL lives with us and he LOVES his books, so I asked him for one of his books to make my own flower. I ran some pages through the Big Shot Express (no handle-love it) with the TH Tattered Flowers die, followed up with the same Distress Inks, then covered the flowers with TH Rock Candy Distress Stickles, smearing it around with my finger. Took my heat gun to it (just read it Distress Stickles CAN be heat dried). Added a TH Mini Brad to the center and mounted it ALL onto MFT Hot Fudge and SU! Riding Hood Red CS.

PHEW... THREE HOURS and I have this card done and 5 more to assemble....

I hope you like this card, I personally LOVE it, and am NOT knowing what I am going to do for my OTHER set for the swap! LOL

Maybe Christmas..... ??????

Flopsey's Plantin a Tree

Welcome to my Blog and my card here is for the MFT WSC Earth Day Challenge for this week!!!

I used MFT goodies here in the stamps sets: When Nature Calls, Gardner Flopsey and the embellies: Chocolate Kiss Ribbon Collection, Glittered Garnishments. I also used some linen thread from the Cat's PJ's, a M's $1 find button, Cork and of the ever well loved MME Love Me Do paper for the rolling hills, Sky, Sun and Flopsey's Britches. I used Jody's Boosters all over this card to give it oomph!

Diamonds and Pearls

This weekend has been SO productive for me and I only had 2 days off... I think it's the Sun Shining that is doing it for me... I LOOOOOVE me some sunshine!!!!

I saw some of this DCWV sittin in my paper racks while I was yakkin with Kate and thought... A-HA! I have to use my never seen ink Puttin on th eGlitz by MFT. I LOVE this lil sassy gal, I'm not a girly girl myself however the look I just adore!!!! SO I used some PTI Creme paper, MFT Creme Perfect Paper Panels, Pure Luxury Ribbon (creme and black), Perfect Pearls in black and some Bling Adornments all found at MFT. I also boosted these panels up with some of the MOST AWESOME boosters to be found, Jody has them and she is SO very fast with shipping, this is actually my second order, I'm somewhat of a skeptic, even though I LOVE my as seen on TV LOL, but WOW!!!! These boosters are SO awesome... in order to get the main image high enough since each panel has them on it I had to double them up....I then proceeded to finish up the inside of the card and used a sentiment from the Paper Dolls stamp set at MFT that I won on a blog candy from Holly (Toy on SCS) way back when....

I am IN LOVE with this card and thanks for looking.... I'll be loading more here soon as I have been an MFT Freak the last 2 days!!!!!

Hailey in Action!

HERE SHE IS!!!! Miss 3rd Base!!!! She that form? Didn't even waste any time standing up to throw that ball, MY GOSH but she has REALLY gotten GOOOOOD at 3rd.

Funny thing is the coach for the team we played told another of her coaches, that 3rd baseman is a STUD! LMAO Ummm, DUH!!! Just like Maw!!!! seriously though... this girl is G!O!O!OD!!!!!!!!

MFT WSC Quilts

Here is my card I was able to complete for the MFT WSC Challenge, QUILTING... I used some old Daisy Bucket papers, Kraft paper and Hot Fudge paper, SU! Ribbon and Plant a Tree stamp set by MFT! I double stamped the "leaf" part of the tree on DP and cut it out and then only the center was cut out for the 2nd lay and placed on the card using Jody's sticky dots (love these things) I found 3 lil red heart shaped buttons from my latest $1 find at M's... filled 'em with some twine stuff and viola!

PS: the stiches are CB'ed on there with those skinny CB Folders and then inked up with the Memento Rich cocoa and the pieces of "fabric" were stamped using a M's $1 store stamp that looked like double stitching, the "faric" pieces were then run through the CB with the Swirl folder to look like that cool quilting pattern people put on quilts!

Birthday for Hailey B

Here is the LATE Birthday post... This is the Crew that hung out with us over night for Hailey's 15th Birthday party!!!! Here is the card I made for her! I used the SFYTT from that week to the best of my memory I REALLY love this card!!! **sigh** had to give it away, but I did threaten to beat her if I find it on the floor or under her bed! LOL
