MFT Guest DT ~Lets Dance

It's that time again!!!! Time for me to take a chance on being able to play in the tub with the MFT DT!!!! I LOVE this time of the month. Some LUCKY GAL/GUY will win $200 worth of MFT Goodies, BUT... the BEST PART.... yea, ummmm, they open up the club for you to hang out with them and post the sneak peeks for the coming release AND your name is on Kim's Blog roll call. No name in the tub, but... I keep praying! ;)

Jody and Joanne have challenged us to Paper Piece. I DO love paper piecing and in fact for those that struggle... check out THIS post on Joanne's blog for a video of how to's!!!! I am using a retired stamp ( :( ) but... it is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES EVER!!!! Amanda Baird just REALLY hits me in the gut. You will recognize her name as the A La Mode maker... yes, those sassy girlies!!!! ;) Anyway, I stamped Dance the Night Away onto a Cream MFT Perfect Paper Panel. Her skin and hair were colored with Copic markers. I then stamped the dress portion 3 times on gold shimmer paper. The dress was cut out completely, then just the skirt and THEN just the highest twirlie skirt part. I stamped that in Gray ink and heat embossed as the shimmer paper didn't really like ink being on it! ;) I took some SUPER itty bitty pearls and decorated the edge of the bodice with the pearls. Now it was time to conquer the gloves... yes, it was tough, but I CONQUERED!!!!! . Some glitter ink, glaze ink were applied to the shoes, lips and gloves... well, just glaze to the lips! ;)

Touch Twin Challenges~1

I bought some new markers off of the BST thread over at SCS and am thrilled. I have been SO wanting these markers. Shinhan Touch Twin Markers are SO awesome... I bought the "old version" but the inks stayed the same and there ARE refills, more refills coming 1st part of January along with CHA ;) Hurry, I'm tellin ya, these TOTALLY play nice with Copics.

Now I've been watching video's from You Tube with Quixotic paperie. Lemme tell ya, it took 20 minutes to color a face... now I've decided it's NOT patience I need to lay on the layers it's PAXIL! LOL

BUT, being the player I am... I TRIED to lay it on, yes, I SO need more Paxil, er... PATIENCE!!!! ;)

MFT Weekly Sketch ~ Sky Line

This week Frances has the sketch, she does the first sketch of the month, always. She is a GREAT Sketch draw-er... LOL LOVED this sketch, it was simple to follow without being SIMPLE... KWIM? ;)

I used some OLD SU! DP and PTI papers. MFT Perfect Paper Panel and a ton, I mean a TON of Paper Piecing. NEW from MFT WTG/WTGuy :May I have this Dance and the skyline Die namic were used. I also used Tattered Angels Charcoal Glimmer mist on the die namic and I used more Tattered angels in the sky along with Tim Holtz distress inks to give that evening sky look.

MFT Product Tour December Release ~ KelliJo

It's time for the Product Tour for MFT! I chose to use the Pure Innocence stamp set "Holly", this is the stamp set for December. It was also part of the VIP Kit that sold out in less than 24 hours... gotta move quick to catch the CUTE!!!! ;)

Me being the birthday girl yesterday I felt it was fitting to use the Holly stamp set :)

I used quite a few of the wonderful die namics on this card; Little Scallop Open Strip, Simply Scallops Medium, Open Scallop Doily Oval (new product).

Holly was stamped in memento black ink and colored with Copic markers, her dress is covered in glear glaze pen to give it that satin appearance, Christmas best ya know! ;)

The DP is from Authentique and Holiday Twine from The Ribbon Carousel was used. I added the (can't live without) Notched Tag die namic and the Holly leaves from the Ornament set (currently sold out). A red swarovski crystal for the Holly berry and some Red Viva Pearl Pen Pears in the corners and it's done!

Ice Princess Sneak Peek

It's Pure Innocence day and I am using the previously available PI Ice Princess. I took advantage of the VIP Kit and got this little cutie and she is SO fun to play with, it's a great image to learn how to paper piece with too for those of you that aren't quite comfortable with it as there are no itty pieces to mess with... a simple straight lined skirt/shirt and just the skirt... OK enough blah blah blah on that ...

I decided to make her an award winning skater after watching Jo's video on the rosette die namic, for some reason that is what worked for me to get it figured out!!! LOL

I created the ribbon using the Award Winning Die namic, I the placed the rosette on top. The center circle is stamped with the flourish from the Sassy n Sweet. Ice Princess was stamped in Memento Black colored with Copics and then her skirt was completely covered in stardust gelly pen and then (tip from Jen del Muro) an aqua brush filled with rubbing alcohol help spread it around without lines. All pieces were mounted using Jody's boosters (note to self need more). I used the Picket Fence paper that I have been hording and some Divine Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. Some Swarovski crystals in the corners and the sentiment was cut into pieces and stamped onto another circle from the award winning die namic.

MFT Sneaks day 4

Today I have a Die Stamp combo to share with you. It's perfect for all those pages we need to get caught up on, being a Mom of Athlete's I am SO far behind, shoot, my oldest is 3 years out of school! LOL ANYWHO... I decided to NOT make a page (go figure) and make a card representing my Daughter and her Select Fastpitch team colors. I stamped PI I get a Kick Outta You being careful to not stamp the ball she is holding, although fastpitch balls are big, they are not that big... :) I finished drawing the PI with a fine liner pen. PI was masked and then the home plate was stamped in London Fog ink. Using the stamp for the bat in this set I stamped it then cut it out. Since we use alloy bats I flipped it over and heat embossed with clear powder. I then created Hailey's trophy using one of the dies of a ball, could be baseball ya know, just don't make it yellow! ;) I mounted it on the hardware and made her an MVP, in my world she IS! ;) Flat Bottom Cloud dienamics, Grass Dienamics and even the darker grass was made using the Icicle Dienamic.

Fred Bear- Feel Better

Welcome! Today I am previewing our cute friend Fred Bear. It is the cold and flu season and what better way to cheer up a sick peep with Fred as your assistant? None that I can think of!!!!

I created a quick and simple little goodie bag using the Perfect Bracket Edge die namic (love this thing), and the word bubble from Say What stamp/die combo. Fred was colored and them distressed with some blending solution on a piece of Aida cloth, cut out and placed onto some SU striped twill.

I received my Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps in the mail yesterday and since I FINALLY finished the darn LAST SWAP of the year yesterday I had some time to play today...

All sorts of new goodies on this baby!!!! RibbonCarousel ribbon from December's kit, Christmas Twine, Goosebumps Shimmer Texture Spray, Snow Bunny Lucy (stamp) and Authentique DP from Corinna!!! I created a goodie holder using a die cut that I got from Jody awhile ago now, and it was a simple fast project to put together, some dies, ribbon, twine and a button...the STAR of the show of course is Snow Shoveling Riley! He's got his work cut out for him that is for sure but it looks like he's got it all but done... just that last pile in the shovel! ;) Head on over to the Riley & Company and see what the DT have created!!!

I gotta say I am THRILLED with this next peek, I mean I love them all so far, but THIS ONE??? Yea ummm, this image ROCKS!!!!! I stamped Grinchy Riley twice cut one out with Spellbiners 2010 ornament die, colored and the used liquid applique on layer 1, set it aside, NOT for 24 hours... I really do NOT have patience... LOL I then colored image #2 just the face and cut it out. After the liquid applique dried for almost an hour, lol, I puffed it up with my heat gun and then used a Jody Dimensional to adhere the face onto the body. I then layered some black pearl flourishes onto my Green CS that I ran through the diamond CB folder. A few extra black pearls into the corners. The ornament is "hung up" using a Websters Pages Twinkler with a black pearl in the center. The inside is stamped with the FUNNIEST sentiment this release!!! His "puzzler" LOL LOVE IT!!! Here is my Card and Thanks for all the love so far friends!!! It's SO much fun....

Hello again, it time for another sneak peek of the CUTE images Riley & co are releasing on the 24th, NOPE! Not a type-o...the release is on Thanksgiving... some stores are opening for Black Friday at 10PM so might as well get what is REALLY on your list from the comfort of your own home and avoid making headline news right! ;0

For this peek I got reacquainted with my Exacto knife. The Wreath just scremed to be hung from a door, or TAG in this case!! ;) I colored the Christmas balls on the wreath in colors from my Mom's tree growing up, we had an "adults" tree and a kids tree, the adults tree was flocked and has pink and blue balls on it, I just could NOT make myself FLOCK THAT WREATH.... that is NOT a fond memory for me... I gotta admit, I have never heard of the Moxie Fab Trigger challenge but when it popped up on my FB page I INSTANTLY had inspiration, just had to cook dinner after picking Hailey up then I could play.

Jessie was TOTALLY my inspiration from a LONG ago MFT Dienamic post when seeing these lollipop trees on this bag... The Notebook Edge Dienamic and how she used it upside down and called it a tree on the Wyatt the Conductor card she made... anyway... Here is my card and I gotta say, it was a fun challenge... I used MFT Grow Love Plant a Tree, a doily dienamic and of course the notebook edge dienamic.

Hello my friends!! I just completed my Christmas cards for a PTI Swap over at SCS. I LOVE texture and have been having fun playing with AIDA cloth and dies... I decided to honor my Mom and her AMAZING cross stitch skills by using AIDA cloth and (NO! not a needle and thread) stamps!!! STAMPS I SAY!!! :)

Here is my card for the stocking imitation and the 2nd card is just home spun-y-ish!!! ;) Both are very clean and Simple but NOT CAS... too much extra to be a real CAS, but still Clean and Simple! LOL

Cops 4 Kids Auction Basket 2011

for the last 3 years running I have been the reigning CHAMPION of the Basket Auction... Each year there are several baskets put up for Auction to Benefit the Cops 4 Kids here in Olympia. I started playing 3 years ago and have won all 3 years. It started out as simply a necessity, I joined SO many swaps and had SO many cards laying around... then the last 2 years I have had gracious fellow stampers donate cards and join my swaps just for this great cause. This year was no exception... the basket is GORGEOUS!!! I couldn't fit it in the actual basket I had for the cards so I had to get crafty here at work and found a stray paper holder!!! ;)

I have a feeling I am gonna be the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner again this year ALL THANKS TO MY SWAPPING SISTERS over at SplitCoastStampers!!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

Time to say Good Bye after 26 years...

Well, it's time! I remember back when we first met... I had just gotten my drivers license and was out lookin' cool!!! There you were... the COOLEST kid on the block and you were hangin' out with me. We have been together for 26 years now. Can you believe it? You have been there with me through the Army days, being deployed to Saudi Arabia. When I was left alone with a baby, you were there. LONG drives, you were there. You have been my encourager, the one to be the reward for completing a chore. You helped me have patience when creating a project, yes, it has to sit and dry, so we would go hang out for awhile. I have been SO angry and you helped me calm down. I have eaten myself into sickness when that food was SO darn good I couldn't stop, you helped settle my tummy. You have given me SO many laughs on those fun and crazy drunken nights out when you would be upside down and turned the wrong way. LOL

I must say, I have tried to not want you around before, and have always come running back to you, WHY? I just wasn't ready to face "life" on my own. You have always been there and I could always justify "needing" you around. Well, today that ends. I have decided that My Life needs to be controlled by ME, NOT YOU.... I know it will sound odd to many, but I DO Thank You for helping me through so many situations that I have come up against... the good, the bad and the ugly, but ... today we are parting ways.

SO, this is it my faithful friend....

GOOD BYE!!!!! I will NOT miss you... I'm READY FOR THIS!!!!!

I LOVE it, it adds SO much color to my craft room and takes away those BIG BULKY DRAWERS!!!! YAY!!!! Now you will HAVE to go and get these DELISH Ribbon spools and put them on the EIGHT peg carousel... YES EIGHT OF THOSE BABIES!!!! Yummm....

It's all about the bling this month... I decided to alter some candles and a mirrored tray, you talk about Bling.... WOWZERS!!!! ;)

MFT PI Flurry of Love; MFT pink satin ribbon; MFT Jewel brads (old); MFT dienamics-snowflakes, mini scalloped border, dizzy doily stack; MFT CS; Recollections bling strips; Viva Pearl Pen in cream

Image was stamped onto Tissue paper, colored with Copics and then heat gun to get it to "stick". the bling brads were stuck through the layered snowflakes and then into the candle. Extra Snowflakes were placed around the tray for decoration. I will be purchasing 2 more sets of the snowflake dienamic.... LOL TONS of passes through my Big Shot Express, SO glad I have a push button and not a hand crank....well, enough blah blah blah how about some pictures!!!! ;)

Treat Bags

Here is a project I completed this week. It is a quick and simple but OH SO SWEET project. Little baggies, a PTI Frame die was cut and folded in half. It was secured with some red gingham ribbon. The insides are simple, Hershey's nuggets, I took a music BG Stamp and inked it red, stamped it onto mailing labels. Used the MFT Dienamics (hearts, snowflakes). Simple stuff right? the MFT bitty tag dienamic and the limited holiday stamp set from last year were also used. what a cute lil Mini heart.... awwww

Playing along with this weeks sketch over at the MFT Forum.

Here is my card using MFT Pure Innocence Lil Pumpkin, MFT Dienamics (2 flourishes and the mini scallop). Some older DP from a long ago thrown away paper pad, you know that BIG stack of paper that you only NEED 2 pieces from.... yea, ummm, ANYWAY!!!!! :) I used some Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge to accent each layer of the sketch, and paper pieced her dress and the pumpkin. Gel pen and glitter pens were also used to highlight. Mini Pearls and a SU Clip are my embellishment of choice for this card!!!! :)

You see, I'm going to be doing a remodel on my blog. I am going for a more professional look and Teressa is going to be helping me again. I am SO set on blogging daily.... it might end up about 3 times a week but that's not too darn shabby I don't think and it's much better than the normal.... LOL

I have completed TONS of swaps and need to post my pictures of those... and GUESS WHAT???

While sending a 15 pound box of paper and stuff to Rachel at work, I decided that I am NOT buying ANYTHING until I have this supply used up... now this does NOT include stamps or regular CS... lol Not buying stamps is like not breathing... and I would STOP breathing if I knew how behind I was in my collection of MFT, It just simply is NOT happening... so, I will be using what I have in an effort to try all these wonderful things that I just had to have...

to pack up my goodies. I was able to complete all pending swaps last night so up to November I'm good! ;)

I have all my stamps packed and already at the storage unit where they will sit cold and neglected for approx 10 days until I can spring 'em to freedom. The house is starting to echo as it's getting empty... AH-MAZING how much crap one can accumulate so quickly. I am SO thrilled though to have gotten rid of over 300 stamp sets AND unmounted all that I decided to keep. Make packing SO swift and easy... there were only 6 boxes of CD cases... YAY ME!!!! Now the DP... **sigh** that is another story and Jody just posted a picture of all her new papers I am GREEN I TELL YA!!!!! :{

OK, back at it, I turned word verification off for you too Jody! LMAO AND movvd over to google plus to check out that neighborhood. Facebook was just getting OH SO DIFFICULT to manage!!!!

Here is my swap card I made for Kate's Halloween swap. MFT PI Little Witch was paper pieced using SU DP. I colored the DP to make it blend better. PTI Avacado and Sky Blue were the CS used, the MFT Dienmaic Perfect Bracket was used and then that piece stamped with Ippity Paisley stamps. Bits and pieces of the paisley and the paper pieced dress have clear glaze to raise some attention to the detail. a Rolled Mum from MFT Dienamics and Bronze Pearl Pen.

Hello my crafy peeps. It's been a long time huh? WOWZERS... I really was gone a long time.... WOW! LOL OK, so Corinna is to blame/thank for my return. She is the Owner of the Ribbon Carousel. She asked me to be a Stow Away this month and so here I am, I will have posts every Monday for you to peek at during the month of August... ;)

SO lets get started with the first one, Corinna described me as a fabulously crazy, party-girl personality... HA! :) SO... in honor of that Title, I created THIS for you...

I just A-DORE MFT stamps and toys. and of course Amanda Baird's Party Girl is a BIG fave of mine, she is SO sassy!!!! LOL

This card uses MFT Party Girl, Button, Twine, Dienamic; Moxie DP called Senior Year; PTI CS in black and white; Queen & Co pearls; MM spider flower; IHP loopie ribbon; and the Piece de'resistance... A RECORD!!!! AHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!! Yep, cut that baby in half with my Tim Holtz scissors and used some Fusion glue to attach it. I am TOTALLY in love with this card but alas, it's GONE!!! Hailey used it for a Birthday card for her buddy Lizzie!!!! **sigh** LOL

I have been thinking long and hard about this challenge and wanted to use a couple photo's that I ADORE... my buddy Jennifer from Kentucky and I... 1 is at AIT in FT Gordon 20+ years ago and the other is around 10 years ago when she flew in to visit me when we lived in Oregon... Tried to replicate the pose! LOL Too bad the young peeps couldn't be replicated... I about cringed when I had to type "20+ years ago" I mean ... REALLY???!!!! 20???? **sigh** ANYWAY... I tried to conjur up some Lisa Henke on these SB pages, as she showcased some the other day that were SO simple in appearance and TOTALLY COOL... well, hopefully she will continue to speak to me, LOL BUT... I used MFT Dienamics (fishtail banner, rolled roses) and some "ribbon" from MFT.

No clue how to get these babies side by side... **sigh** call it too much sun yesterday... forgot the sunblock until it was TOO LATE!!! ;) More on that another day...;)

Doodle Bug DP from a few years ago paired up nicely with the new ECHO PARK SPRINGTIME papers I had. Some buttons in Pink paired up with **gasp** an older TE Clay button, YES! I let go of one... it pains me so... but look how CUTE it is... ;) A punched out border, some twine, a bit o' bling and some Viva Pearl Pens in Kiwi, Red and Transparent... the transparent are on the little cherries of the Doddlebug DP, tee hee

I decided to use my Favorite picture of my 3 favorite people...This is the day Hailey was born and it was taken just hours after... Dave, Hailey and Christopher are pictured here.

I altered a frame with some wood paper, ribbon and nestie shapes along with a small apothecary jar and the sentiment from the set...a few SU! brads and it was done! Masculine it is... this will be stashed away until Father's Day... Yes! I'm safe from Dave seeing it here on the ol blog as he is NOT computer saavy!!! LOL

I Took advantage of a SUPER AWESOME Sketch Frances provided this week at the MFT Forum to create my Mother's Day cards... it is a AWESOME Sketch

Here is my card front using CTMH Papers that were a giftie from Corinna, MFT Ribbons and Viva Pearl Pens and I combined two different Primas to make my own. The image is Pure Innocence, Being Cute is What I do... tee hee, see why it's a mothers day card, I'M CUTE!!!! :) :)

And here is the inside of the card using more CTMH DP and some Dienamics. The sentiment is from MFT WTG Mother's Day stamp set...

Here is my entry for this weeks MFTWSC... Slippin in BARELY on time!!! LOL LONG Work Week...

I paper pieced all of WTG, you see her pants....yes, double paper pieced, I had to have the left leg "material" facing the correct way... LOL

Her bag was pieced from a Unity stamp set envelope, twine pierced into the piece to make handles for her shopping bags.

Picket Fence DP was used, some paper tape and more twine, then the wood button. Copper Viva Pearl Pens and Copper Embossing powder.

Taylored Expressions Blog Hop from the Past-April

Hello Peeps... I was FINALLY able to play along with the TE BFTP Hop for April... I have missed the last couple due to work schedules... BUT... This time i was able to play and this card was Simple Dimple as Taylor picked a CAS (Clean and Simple) card... and I KNEW I had to use "What's Cookin" SO easy peasy for a CAS card... You will notice a bit of "spice" in my kitchen... Taylors Tiny Twinkles on the handles and of course a glitter pen for the whisk element... Highlighted a part of the phrase to give it some Pizzazz and viola! Dinner is served!!! ;)

Now go ahead and hop on along, not much further now as I am near the end of a FABULOUS line up of cards to stare at... I have th eblinkie up top of my blog all the time, so if you thought this was fun, JOIN US next month and it will be WAY more fun!!! :)

I can finally let you all know... I have been selected for the November Guest Designer for Riley and Company....

At one time I had EVERY Riley made... then some bad things happened with the company which made me VERY Sad, mad and SICK... I got rid of them ALL!!! Well, I DID keep one only because the LOVE that came with it out weighed the evil! LOL Yoorah sent me Riley in a palm tree swing and i STILL HAVE HIM!!!! <3 <3 <3

I am SUPER excited to be able to re-unite with my Main Moose!!!! LOVE HIM!!!!

I used PTI Cream and Kraft CS, LillyBee DP called This & That (I{heart}Papers carries it). The pearls and bling flowers are K&Co or Making Memories cant remember...the blings in her flower wreath are from Taylored Expressions.

The fancy design behind the nestie is a new-ish MFT Die Namic. Dizzy Doily Border... well, that is what I call it.. it IS Dizzy Doily (something)... I Totally LOVE this card... now if only Gabby's addy was still the same it would be postal in no time to her... I REALLY do miss that Gal!!! :( Thanks for looking!!!

This is my entry for the Guest DT challenge at MFT... Shabby Chic... SO not my thing but I DO love the look... and am SO HAPPY WITH THIS!!!!! :)

TONS of TH distress ink, TH Mist, PTI Cream ink...the pearls were covered in Spun Sugar Distress ink...

Die namics, CS about Time and Inspired by Flowers MFT Products were used... I have SO much to say about HOW I did this but... I REALLY dont want to have a 3 page blog entry! ;)

I did add some crinkly inkly ribbon and used a TH Button for a Bright pop of shabby chic color! ;)

WISH ME LUCK Lord knows I NEED MY MFT FIX!!!!! and it is ALWAYS an honor to rub shoulders with my MFT PEEPS!!!!

Here is my card for MFT WSC13, This was a VERY involved card although it doesn't look like it.

I stamped the Cello from MFT Inspired By-Music in Memento Rich Cocoa, masked it and then stamped a Stampendous BG Stamp in Perfect Cream PTI Ink and heat embossed in clear. I repeatedly stamped the flowing music notes and stamped the Treble Clef all in Rich Cocoa.

All pieces were "distressed" with Carnation Memento Ink.

Die Namics were used on this card: Heart, Music Note and Frame. an MFT Wood button was also used and finished off with Cat's PJ's cream thread. I created my own flourish as see on Kim's blog moons ago with some MFT Glittered bling... they are NOT heat stick so I applied them one at a time with MINI glue dots... those things are SUPER COOL! Ribbon from I {heart} papers was also used.

This is the inside of my card just repeating the DP and adding the die namic notes on the frame. The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental About Music.

Played with an uninked stamp today Jolinne-In My Garden from MFT. I was anxious to use this new (but out of stock) Fabric sticky paper I bought from I {heart} Papers. I also used my new LilyBee Picket Fence DP. Some PTI CS and MFT Die namics (jumbo scallop, scalloped scallops and buttons). Also the Medium Rolled Rose die namic, I just cut a square of the sticky material and placed it onto a scrap of the red/checked DP and then cut it and rolled it. The Pearls are BG ....

A Bit of distressing on the DP and the image panel. DONE! :)

THIS IS FOR MEGAN... she snoozed and loosed on the material paper!!! LMAO

This first card is for my Daughter's Select Fastpitch Team, the stamp was custom made at http://www.stampoutonline.com/ and they are SUPER good and SUPER FAST... sent them a pdf pic of the image and in 3 days it was shipped in 5 I had it in my hands... now THAT is SERVICE!!!!! Some PTI & MFT Paper and a MFT Die namic and ribbon and done...

THIS is the Pirate Wench for Michael's Birthday card... LOL He likes pirates and since I have no pirate stamps I had to make this a tavern Wench... LOL Some scull DP the dizzy die namic glitter ribbon and some roses... yes, he's a dude but....c'mon... gotta make it girlie, she's a WENCH ... HELLLOOOOoooo!!!!!!

MFT WSC12 Friends are Flowers

This week's sketch over at MFT... It was a super fun sketch and easy to play with... LOVE that...Sketches are a PERFECT place to start however it doesn't always mean easy to use... LOL THIS one was.....

I used my Stephanie Pfizer's How Does Your Garden Grow set along with some Jilly Bean Soup papers and ruffled ribbon I just got in from I {heart} Papers... Now THAT is an AWESOME "store" and SO super fast in shipping... anyway... I also used the older Flower Trio die namic and the last **gasp** of my red glittered garnishments for the centers of the flowers, inside and out. I paper pieced the dress and used a cute lil gimic from my buddy Michele Boyer, I didn't glue down the bottom but gave it a bit of a lift with my bone folder at the bottom to add dimension... LOVE that trick... THANKS MICHELE!!!! :)
I also *attempted* to add grass (like Michele) does at the bottom with my prismacolor pencils... still got some practicin to do!!!!

This is the inside all finished up and perty!!!! ;)

Turning 16

March 22 my Baby Girl, Hailey Brooke, turns 16... can you believe it??? I sure can't... especially when I was in the passenger seat and SHE was DRIVING!!!!! **gasp**

I wanted to make her a super special birthday card using her FAVE (right now) Giraffe... I grabbed my MFT Sassy n Sweet stamp set and got to work, then tossed to the can, then got to work, then tossed to the can... Lemme tell ya this card was SO hard to complete, it was SO awesome... IN MY MIND... but this FOURTH version... I really like, so I'm stickin with it!!!!

I had stamped the "giraffe" print, was the cheetah that I colored in, then decided to use glaze pen on the spots only, didn't like that so inked the whole thing with Rich Cocoa Memento ink then embossed the whole things, there is a hint of the spots still showing which is kinda cool... I'm talking about on the "16" part which are numbers I die cut while at Corinna's house... The DP is some I got from I {heart} Papers awhile ago and added some of the flourishes from the MFT SnS Set... the ribbon was from my Kate (C_S), different pieces of the SnS DieNamic were used the sentiment was distressed with TH Inks. The roses were a combination of types that I glued together. While cleaning out and organinzing (again) my room I found these paper leaves in my stash and grabbed those...a bit of blingage on the frame and DONE!!!! all in all this was a 4 hour card!!! LMAO Oh but I must empty my trash can now!!!! Have an AWESOME Day and thanks for popping in!!! :)

This is an ATC that I created for a swap. The ATC was "who we are..." so... the loud obnoxious colors of the shoft shy roses, the royalty lookin color and the sloppy crinkly inkly ribbon, touch of bling and the Western Phrase stamp! Me in a nutshell.

Egg Plant, Cranberry and Wild Plum alcohol inks are colors used to create the background colors!

Hello Sunshine.... OK, not yet as it snowed again last night but I am READY for some sunshine and would LOVE to be FLORENCE right now!!!!! ;)

This week at Kraftin Kimmie the challenge is Scoopy Scallops

I wasn't sure where this card was going while making it, I colored my image and then thought... UH OH... Pink and Red... not just ANY pink but PTI Pink... the hot pink one... LOL SO, I just went with what I wanted to use and I have to say, I LOVE the finished product...I guess making things "work" is harder then just letting a card ... Become... LOL Anyway, here is my entry... this is the 4th week of the Guest DT entries and I am SO excited as I have completed them ALL.... now, FINGERS CROSSED I can make the cut to play with Kimmie and her wonderful Krafty Girls in April!!!!! **eeeek**

Day 2 for MFT Sneaks

SURPRISE!!!! :) Betcha never thought you'd find ME here this month!!! LOL Kim had sent me some stamps with my last batch (Guest DT Pack) that were for this month so Jody asked if I wanted to play along... Ummm, HECKYES!!!! LOL

Fred Bear just TOTALLY grabs my heart and makes me go all silly and wild!!! Well, lemme tell ya, this card just TOOK OFF... Layer upon layer, sticky dot upon sticky dot (literally for height-LOL)

I have had this Making Memories paper for a couple months, just knowing SOME day it would be perfect for SOMETHING... tee hee.. you know how paper shopping goes!!!;)

Well, I used SO many die namics on this card, the jumbo scallops, the grass, sun, flat bottom clouds and the flower trio which have some glittered garnishments in the center (I'm almost out and am gonna miss those suckers!) ...I "colored" my background paper with some Dandelion Memento ink using a piece of rub n buff foam, used a scalloped nestie to make the frame and began the picture.... I LOVE how this turned out... The inside could NOT be left plain with this gorgeous of a card right? SO, another set of die namics and a sentiment that comes from the set.

Now this card features those Wacky Gals we love and call the Flapper Doodles...Yakkin on the phone with their bestie... this set is PERFECT as I am always on the phone with my bestie Kate... of course if it was one in the car headed to work while yakkin it would be THE perfect set!!!! LOL Kate gets me to and from work with giggles and gripes, no matter what she is ALWAYS there for me!!! MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!! LOVE YA KATE!!!!!

Simple Black and White with no coloring but a BUNCH of bang... I sandwiched the ruffle ribbon in between two pieces of black CS to keep the working pieces from showing... HATE THAT!!!!! MFT Pearls and an OLD set called Behind the scenes and the "new-ish" Many Thanks were also used on this card! Now Head on back to Kim's for the rest of the sneakers peekers!!!

Sketch #7 Playing along with MFT and the sketches... on a roll haven't missed a week yet... ;)

This week I had a tough time deciding what to use for my card, as it is obviously set for a sentiment and I didn't want to use the heart shape. I did tweek the sketch a tad...I put the solid stripe up top in the form of my ribbon, and didn't flag the ends of my sentiment strip but carried the triple matting theme through and Lord knows flagging ONE piece of paper really is hard for me let alone THREE and have them matchy match??? Ummm, No Thanks! LOL

SO, I used SEI papers that I picked up back in January at Cindy's Simple Stuff. It's a tough paper for card makers but I think it works nicely with this sketch and the Flower Trio dienamic along with the flower strip die namic... some pink Basic Grey pearls and finished! ;)

KK Challenge #3-Sketch

Here is my challenge card for this weeks' Kraftin Kimmie challenge... a sketch, I always love using a sketch and this one was fun! I used the stamp set Narissa and popped her out of the box with my circle nesties, covered the the circle area in Glossy Accents for a water feel, the BG papers are from My Minda Eye-Brilliant borthers and Cosmo Cricket Delightful. The very back paper has been run through the cuttlebug with a large polkie dottie folder for bubbles... tee hee...

Narissa was colored with Shimmerz paints for that fishy scaly (in a beautiful way) kind of feel...Copics for her skin and darker areas of her hair. Thanks for looking!!! Thanks for the chance of being a Guest Kraftin Kimmie DT Kimmie!!! :)

Week 2 at Kraftin Kimmies Challenge is a recipe... 3 Colors, 2 DP, 1 Ribbon and 1 button...

I used DP for my BG paper and for the chain die namic. The sentiment is atop a LARGE button! Hand drawn fish nets make Annette all the more HOT HOT HOT! ;)

Some black glaze pen on her polkie dottie dress, colored with copics. polkie dottie ribbon threaded through the die namic and viola, INSTANT HOTTIE!

Recycle Valentine Card

I received my Valentine gift yesterday from Alice on an SCS Swap... ALL the goodies were SO awesome, a bunch of Vintage SU stuffs, had been on my want list and had just got taken off a couple days before due to fundage... **sigh** and POOF, here they were in the mail... EEEEK! Also in the package is my FAVE CANDY EVER!!!!! Hot Tomales... Alice wrapped them up in this GORGEOUS Tissue paper and I just knew I had to use it on SOMETHING... so I thunked and thunked and A-HA! ... I crunkled it all up a couple times and then applied it with modge podge to a piece of SU Cherry Cobbler CS. I went to be and when I got up this AM I got to work on it. I wrapped a piece of Crinkly Inkly ribbon to the base and I also used my FAVE companies goodies... My Favorite Things... MFT Die Namics .... EEEEK! :) The Stamp used on the outside is Inspired By-Love and the inside is Clearly Sentimental About-Love both by MFT.

Here is a lil gal that I made and peeked it at the release party but wanted to share it with everyone here too!

The new PI's gals are SO cute this month... this one is called You're So Tweet. Bo Bunny CS and some crinkly inkly ribbon, so Viva Pearl Pens were used. She was colored in with Copics. I wanted her to have a fancy dress on so I colored the top half of her dress completely ignoring the pinafore lines... she even has her little white tights on... I just highlighted her legs witha C1 pen.

It's that time my MFT Lovin Peeps... You should be joining me from the EVER Fabulous KERRY J's Blog... is she not TALENTED or WHAT???!!!!! **sigh** Well, my 15 minutes of fame is up with the MFT Crew and I have got to tell ya... it has been a BLAST.... all the eyeballs on my blog and the keep me smilin comments on my projects... I LOVE ALL THE ATTENTION!!!! LOL OK, so enough of ME...**for now** ;) I changed up my shop n hop project as this idea has been banging in my head for quite some time now, well since I saw this Stamp Set... Day 5 WTG Sneak Peek

You saw this set on the VIP Hop as it was the featured set 2 weeks early, it's time now to see it right before it's available for purchase TONIGHT!!!!!!

WTG My How You've Grown is a set that brings tears to the eyes of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc... This set is CHOCK FULL of tear jerkers. I made mine into a Masculine card that I plan on giving to my son Christopher. You see Christopher and I started out life by ourselves, broke and alone. We had each other and our love! Christopher was a God send I swear. I knew I was pregnant when my unit in the Army was called up to go to war in the first Gulf War, me being young and stupid didn't want to "miss out" so I deployed without telling anyone. I made it to 5 months pregnant before getting "caught". You see I was Team Chief and no one but me drove my 2 1/2 Ton truck. Well backing that sucker up with a generator trailor attached was a challenge to me, I could do it however not perfectly straight...the day I was left behind my team jumped sight with the 101st Airborne squad we were attached to and ended up driving through a mine field. They didn't get far, Thank God, and had to stop and back up in the same tracks they had left. I must say, Christopher kept me and my team alive to see another day by being a part of me. I was left behind and a better driver was behind the wheel of my truck. We all have Angels and Christopher is mine. He has been constant Joy in my life...Yes, there have been bad times but nothing will ever take away a Mother's Love for her child, nothing....so with that long story I give you my card. The sentiment is also from the newly to be released set, Clearly Sentimental about Parenting.

Inspired By Sneaks....

Well, I have go to say, I am TOTALLY IN LOVE with this card... I am NOT a dramatic person (well, ok, maybe just a tad dramatic in some ways....) but THIS SET... when I pulled it out of the package I was INSTANTLY IN LOVE... SO beautiful and I couldn't wait for my weekend to arrive so I could get started. I knew EXACTLY what papers I was going to use... I have had this Daisy Vellum for quite some time, in fact I have used it ONCE before and it was old then too... LOL I layered the Daisy Vellum over the top of Lemon Tart CS, matted with black, and then mounted that onto some Summer Sunrise CS matted on black also. Baby Braddies attached. I wrapped some DELISH ribbon from Michele Lourenco (Delfinaus on SCS) around after tieing a knot in the front part. I stamped all three butterfly images onto Perfect Paper Panels, colored with copics and probably broke every Copic Blending rule to get those colors to glide into each other, but it worked! HA! :) I then cut out each piece leaving a slight white border around them and coated each one with VersaMark ink and then Clear Heat Embossed them. While the EP was still hot, I dipped my finger into my glitter jug, YES JUG, and flicked some pieces of glitter onto the images... OOOO & AWWWW.....

For the Inside another piece of the Vellum plain this time, cut a skinny strip of black CS to edge it, some black pearls from MFT , can't have Brad Butts on the back of your card... BLECH, HATE BRAD BUTTS!!!!

The Sentiment is one of several in the set and it is just Gorgeous... this is a TRUE MUST HAVE SET!!!!!!

So, there are some fairly new kids on the block... by Claire Keay... here is another... she's called Enjoy Every Moment. You know she's a Western Washingtonian, just look at those shoes... Birkenstocks!!! EEEEK!!!! LOL AND she is chasing the sun tryin to catch it as it's a RARE thing around here. tee hee. I used the new Butterfly die namic **AGAIN** on my card...and of course the Sunshine die namic. I used a Wood button from the Earth collection (earth/birkenstocks *get it* ;) ) and then a double bow from twine. some dots and checks make this card SUPER CUTE!!!!!

And Boy Howdy are they just as CUTE as EVER!!!! and of Course, with the newly added PI of the Month you KNOW there's gonna be some SERIOUS OOO'ing and AWWW'ing goin on today... so let's get this party started....

Miss February... Pure Innocence Prim Rose. I have GOT to tell ya, I DO love Prim Roses as they grow CRAZY EASY in all this wet land... my favorite is the maroon and gold one, so that is what I made... and speaking of made... I am CRAZY HAPPY... See that Crinkly Inkly Ribbon??? I MADE IT!!!! Eva posted a link for a how to the other day when we were on Facebook... I watched it and WOW!!! Serious??? Here I thought that you used your Heat Gun and "melted it" I had asked another person how to do it but never heard back (insert sad pouty face), but you talk about easy.... SO, I used some Scarlett Jewel CS and EEEK, my DP is from Basic Grey from the Christmas collection called Wassail, SO excited when paper does double duty. I used the Decorative Doily on the BG DP, and the matching Faux Crochet Border for the strip under my crinkly inkly ribbon. I saw Michele make a STUNNER of a card last month using Miss January with the out of the box done on the flower so, me being me...copy catted... ;) Hey, can't beat perfection right??? 8) That's my story and I'm stickin to it!!!!

OK, so to go along with my copy catting theme today... I was peekin through the Dirty Dozen Gallery on SplitCoast, and there are SEVERAL Dirty girls who are MFT Diva's as well... WELL, one happens to have been my Mentor in the So You Think You Can Stamp contest last year, and she had the coolest addition of a circle and embellie, so I combined that idea with the MFTWSC Sketch #1 from last week, which is AWESOME by the way... and came up with THIS Adorable PI... **DISCLAIMER** the Pinks DO MATCH IN REAL LIFE!!!!! LOL

OMGOSH!!! Right... Butterfly Kisses is this PI's name and there is that NEW DIE NAMIC AGAIN!!!!! I'm tellin ya... I LOVE that Die!!!!! I stamped her out onto some more Old School Mulberry paper in pink cut it out leaving just the wings. I stamped another complete PI on some Perfect Paper Panels, colored her face, hair and legs, then stamped another image onto some DP. Phew, whole lotta layering and surprisingly she doesn't look fat!!!! ;) The papers I used were Little Yellow Bicycle DP along with Berryliscious CS and some MFT Ribbon. The pearls are from Viva Pearl Pen and the glittery stuff is Viva irridescent glitter writer from my bestie Kate!

Now we are off to see the REST OF THE PI's... THERE ARE FIVE OF THEM!!!! **GASP** I know right??? YIKES!!!!! I LOVE Release Time!!!!! :)

and of course I am RIGHT HERE PLAYIN ALONG... Can't miss out on MY chance to Catch a Star right??? Hmmm, Speaking of... whatcha think about THIS Sweetie catchin her some "stars"...

EEEEK! It's Jolinne and she's called Catch a Star... the set comes with either butterflies or stars to use... is this not CUTE!!!!!!! I chose the butterflies because... what else you spy???? YUP!!! NEW DIE NAMICS!!!! OK, SERIOUSLY AWESOME HERE PEEPS!!!! I used Craft CS as my base. Ran the Largest of the THREE butterflies dies several times (yes Jody, I'll be shopping for more) through my Cuttlebug using Kraft CS. I inked them up to give them a slight bit of color, I used Antique Linen from Tim Holtz. I have been seeing some AMAZING cards using the Die Namics as the image "holder" and thought, YUP! Perfect... so I used the Layered Label Dienamic for my image. I colored Jolinne with my copics and then to get a softer look in the colors I took my blending pen (AKA Eraser) and went over each area to remove some color. OMGOSH, it's like water color, and that is a TOTAL issue for me...watercoloring... OK, so I then took some of the VERY Popular Earth Buttons from MFT and looped them on using some twine onto a piece of crinkle ribbon, it's wired up the center already so all I had to do was scrunch it... The buttons became my anchor also... TOTALLY COOL!!!!

Next up... The OH SO LOVED.... FLOPSEY!!!!! I made a card after being inspired by our Favorite Hooter Girl (LOL) Frances and her Squash card she made the other day... Card simple, decorating... TONS of time... Photo'ing it... IMPOSSIBLE so please excuse the pic's...

Do you spy anything NEW on this card??? EEEEK... ANOTHER DIE NAMIC... a WAVE Die Namic... with Flopster being in a boat then umm, HELLLOOOO... gotta be sportin some waves right? On the front of the card I used some more waves cutting them out of old school Mulberry Paper in baby blue. I added some Sand DP and it was plain so I grabbed my On The Pier WTG Set and stamped and colored some seashells.

This is my Twisted Foursome Peek... is that not the FUNNIEST of sentiments... and those PI's are always SO sweet but this one... yea, ummm, it's just NOT her day to be so nice... it's all about me.... er.... HER! ;) Lather Rinse and Repeat PI was used along with some DP from Bo Bunny and a Red Viva Decor Glitter pen.

MFT Sneak Peeks #1~

Are y'all ready for this... (insert music from Space Jams here) LOL

It's time my MFT Lovin Peeps!!! Day 1 of the MFT Sneak Peeks ARE HERE!!!! WOOT WOOT!!! I am SUPER Excited to get to play along this month, shoot, who wouldn't be right??? BUT... I'm NOT gonna babble and keep you tied up here... The whole list of designers who are sneaking today is listed over at Kim's blog... so make sure you follow along... TONS of eye candy!

SO, for my first card today I am using... wait for it.... wait for it.... FRED BEAR OUT WEST!!!!!! **SQUEEL** OMGOSH! I LOVE this set. Fred grabbed my heart when he first appeared at the MFT Store and this guy... UGH!!! He's NO DIFFERENT... but he's got a DEATH HOLD on my heart now!!!!

Is he not THE CUTEST FRED YET????? OH... be still my Butts covered in Wranglers lovin' heart!!!!! *grin* I stamped Fred out and then created a mask with a sticky note, stamped some cactus' (or is it cacti) and then masked them also stamping several cactus'/cacti. I decided to use Distress inks in Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick and Rusty Hinge. I did the burned edge technique, which caused DH to come investigate my craft room from the smell LOL!! I ran a piece of Terra Cotta CS through the TH Wood folder, wrapped a piece of Pine Feathers with some twine stuff that came in a MFT VIP Kit to give it that lasso effect. Some SU! Vintage brads, on the corners. I then decided to nail Fred's Wanted poster to the card and used some TH Mini brads in copper. I added some Green Fun Flock to the cactus'/cacti for some texture and then some glossy pen to the spurs, badge and leather strap around his cowboy hat. Perfect Pearls in White were added to his 'kerchief. DONE! WILD WILD FRED OUT WEST!!!!!

SO, for this next peek, I used the Previous Triple Scoot set, now available for purchase, Clearly Sentimental About - Time! I thought I'd do up a scrapbook page, in NO WAY can I scrap like Melody but I thought that the sentiment matches the years that have passed with these pictures... DP from my friend Megan, so suede ribbon, the Layered Dienamics and some rolled mini roses with pearls in the center...
Now y'all need to skeedaddle to Kim's blog and see what the rest of the MFT Sneakers have done... I'm right behind ya... I can't wait!!!!! :)

This is Bo Bunny papers and the MFT Set by Stephanie Fizer called "Polar Love" I DO LOVE THIS SET!!!!! I made it Valentiney instead of Wintery... and with the weather we are all havin we just may be standin on snow while smoochin with our hunny bears!!! **tee hee** SO Whatcha think? LOOK AT THOS ROSES!!!!! EEEEK!! **pittar pat goes my heart**

Blogger was acting WEIRD last night so I couldn't load my card last night... I created this adorable card for the My Favorite Things (MFT) Wednesday Stamp Challenge (WSC) Put it all together.... MFTWSC1 **LOL**

Stamping is almost as bad as Law Enforcement and the Military with all the acronyms... BUT... anyway on to the card.

I used an Image from last (2009) December release when I was a Vacation Relief designer for Kim... It's Flopsey Truffles. The sentiment comes from a OLD MFT Set called "Be Mine" I used my new nesties that Hailey got me for Christmas and did the out of the box technique with his ears! Some Bo Bunny papers (FINALLY found them at Cindy's Simple Stuff in Centralia) some PTI Pure Poppy CS and some DELISH Ribbon from my friend Michele. The ribbon was ruffled and then used my SEWING MACHINE (gift giver to remain anonymous ;) ) and stitched it down... not too shabby I actually was able to control the speed of the machine this time! LOL Some Baby Braddies in red and some White Viva Pearl Pens from my Bestie Kate. Of course ALL the dimension comes from Jody's Boosters... LOVE those things!!!!

Well, we have a BIG DAY today and my stomache is in KNOTS... Bub hasn't been able to hold food down since Sunday due to the stress he's going through and I dont usually get hit until the day OF the issue... so... I am asking God to help us through this, he's been with us the whole way, and it's here for a reason and although you aren't supposed to ask "Why" I just cant seem to help it... KWIM??? **Sigh** Anyway, have an awesome day my friends!!! I'll post another card tonight I'm sure as I have to complete my Color Throwdown Card... YAY!

It's time for a Mojo Monday Sketch... It's been a bit since I have played along and wanted to get my Mojo revved... call it a "thought" for the new year, NO Resolutions for me... I seem to break them on purpose... James Dean relative? LOL **sigh**

OK, so I received some Die Namics as a GIFTIE from a very SPECIAL FRIEND and have been DIEING to try them with Denim... well, I think I pulled it off... :)

PI Tree Swing from MFT was used along with some dienamics, the NEW Mini Rolled Rose, and the Tree Leaf Trio (leaf piece)... Tim Holtz Burlap texture folder some real burlap... Graphic 45, Gentleman paper and PTI Ocean Tides. I used my Circle nesties my DD got me for Christmas **YAY**

Here is a close up of the mini rolled rose die namic and using Jody's technique I **shoved** a gem inside each rose in a nice BOY color!!!! ;)

Hoping this card puts me over the top for this months DT Challenge at SCS in the MFT Forum!!! If you know me you KNOW I ADORE MFT STAMPS... but this lil "lady" HA! I LOOOOVE HER!!!!! She is having SUCH a good time, is it wishful thinking that draws me to this stamp set???? Living vicariously through her??? Hmmmm.... ANYWAY...

This card took me THREE HOURS to make!!!! WHAT???? **sigh** SO much went into this card besides the TONS of love... Roughly based off of the SFYTT for this Month... just didn't add the circle used the banner dienamics instead...

Some New Toys

It's Almost New Years and I wanted to just Play with my goodies...I got some NEW Goodies!!! :) :) :)

SO here is my card it's doily-fied LOL MFT's New Doily dienamic and doily strip dienamic, some doily-ish ribbon from the stash, some Burlap Prima flowers **drool** and some DCWV Groovy Girl papers. Some BG Pearls in the corners (itty bitty ones) and the center of the flower and this card is DONE! YUMMM... Wouldja just look at that coloring?? This image made shading EASY as the texture is drawn in making it SO much easier for me to "get it" with the shading thingie, that light source whoops my brains every time... **roll eyes**

Anyway... I'm off to a GREAT Start to 2011, may the New Year find you all Happy and Healthy... ya know my Horoscope said Jupiter would be in my path this year to expect GREAT things... hmmm... we will have to see about that one now wont we??? ;)

Two of my "Funky Folds" Gate Fold Sympathy Card using PTI Sympathy stamp set, Black, Cream and Linen CS. Easel Card using PTI White, Up Up and Away Stamp set and some DP from my stash, also used the UU&A die...

Two of my Rgular Fold cards. Distressed Dots DP on Pure Poppy CS. Stamped the On My Couch stamp set onto a couch that was die cut from Pure Poppy, stamped in Fresh Snow and clear EP added. Second card uses PTI Black, White and Raspberry Fizz. It also used the 2010 Round and Round Anniversary set. Some Joliee bling in the dotties...didn't think I could make FOUR sets of cards and NOT have bling SOMEwhere didja?? ;)

OK, so rather than trying to fit all this in with the pictures... Dave with some of his goodies, Yes! That IS a Dallas Cowboys Santa hat... he wears it every year to divy out the gifties!!!

Bubba: You notice the stocking? My Mom cross stitched him one a LONNNNG Time ago and it is about the only tradition we have... what a FANTASTIC keeper, she cross stitched it onto Linen...this is one of the only women who's front of the cross stitch and the back of the cross stitch are darn near identical... a bit anal with the perfect stitches on the back! LOL

Hailey: She too got a WONDERFUL stocking from Mom. You see the lil yellow blankie? YUP! Hailey went EVERYWHERE with that yellow blankie, so Mom made the blankie on the stocking to match... awwww... LOL The OTHER Tradition that we have is that every year the kids get a Lifesavers Storybook in their stocking. My Sister and I always have gotten one and it's just a part of my childhood that I have carried on to my kids, maybe they will continue with theirs....Do you see the pic of the HP Charger? Yea, she was a bit miffed as she doesn't know what it goes to, so I showed her the shipping notice (grrr...long story) and the smile that followed after! :)

G'Pa: That is Dave's dad Joe SR. He had just come downstairs and I snapped a photo. LOL Then the pic of him and his confusion of what the heck we got him... Handheld games, figured they were a great change from the romance novels he reads...

All in all, a GREAT Christmas, not a bunch of gifts purchased at the store but the GREATEST GIFT EVER... My Family together!!!!!

OK, so as promised I have PICTURES of my NEWLY RE DESIGNED HAPPY PLACE!!!! I had outgrown my shelves and needed MORE space because, let's face it... I am NOT done shopping for toys!!!!! LOL SO... My Hubby came up with the idea of boxes in a stair step fashion and WOW but it gave me TONS more room and look at those buttons and punches... it looks like a store display!!! I LOOOOVE IT... but of course NOW it looks like I dont have that many stamps so I am going to have to work on filling those gaps!!! **wink wink** EDITED TO ADD!!!!!! This popped into my head and I decided to go with it! LOL

I grabbed some DP that Kate sent me by Kaiserkraft, some PTI in Avacado and Raspberry Fizz. Some Taylored Tiny Twinkles are on the MS Wreath and bottom corner. The ribbon was a pretty color so I kept it from a package of ???? hehe! The image is MFT Catchin Some Rays, a scalloped scallop Dienamic was used on some cork for my sand... now the sentiment... I am SO in love with this sentiment... it's my Mantra for 2010... It's from the Limited Edition stamp set call Noel Sentiments. Pretty simple to explain the card dontcha think??? SO, anyway, this is my idea of Kim at Christmas time... you know... ALL of Florida is ALWAYS warm... LOL

Some Play Time

My My but life has been kinda chaotic lately... BUT... I quickly made this card last week for a friend at work, he is a Falcon's fan and I of course am a Cowboy Fan. I HATE Seattle and they are going to be playing the Falcons, SO... since the Cowboy's aren't going to be playing the Seahawks this year, I told Tim that I would jump on the Falcon Bandwagon. LOL Thus this CUTE PI card using Football PI and the Wagon full of Friends PI. I only stamped 1/2 of the wagon, cleaned it and then stamped the back half over a bit to fit the football player in it. I completed the wagon lines with my Copic multiliner pen. The football player dude is wearing his "throwback" uniform, thus the red helmet... My PI is wearing her finest Cowboys gear complete with glittery star on her dress. :) Sun, Clouds and stars were all created using Dienamics. Tried the Grass thing that Michele and Jody do and I have some work to do but not too bad! ;)

Last night I was pilfering around in my paper pads and found this one that I ordered quite some time ago it's called "willow Bee" by Nicki Sivils. I believe I got it from I heart paper... I hadn't inked up the Honey Bee PI yet, so it was PERFECT for this paper, which if memory serves me is why I purchased this paper pack! Had grand plans... hmmm, maybe NEXT year! LOL The Mini scalloped dienamic was used along with some black $1 bin M's buttons and some Cats PJ's thread. OH!!!! DO YOU SEE MY STITCHING???? EEEK!!!! LOL It's a combo of not knowing what the heck I'm doing and "crazy stitching" Did you know that you can't go backward very far on a sewing machine? I had it in reverse to make the double stitch but apparently it wasn't liking that, so I trimmed the threads turned it around and went down again, thus the larger poke holes at top... **sigh** LOL BUT... I'm working on it... NO! Those white dashes on the DP are PART OF THE PAPER, I did NOT do that!!!!! BUMMER!!!!! LOL

Lastly here is my DELISH Birthday Cake that Dave and Hailey got for me on my Birthday. Dave cooked Finger Steaks and Fried Taters for Dinner (lurve that stuff) and we ate cake afterward. It was DELISH and PURPLE!!!!! :)

Hope this post finds everyone doing well and healthy-my cold is still hanging on, what a simple term for this plague kinda sickness that I have.... man it's bad this year...

It's back to the coal mine for me tomorrow, BE SAFE FRIENDS!!!!!

LOL Big joke in my area as we are a bit "county" and use used motor oil to start our burn barrels... **gasp** I know, I know... anyway, I got a blog update thingie in my email and it had a link to this project and I KNEW I had to use it for my Final Project as a Guest DT for MFT... I had TONS of felt that I purchased thinkin I could use it with my dies.. NOPE, too cheap... but it cuts fine with scissors and was PERFECT for this project... I used the WTG From the Bottom of my Heart set and used the WTG image... some MFT Dienamics called Hearts a Plenty and created this wreath!!! **EEEEKK!!!! Makes me GIGGLE**

Oh WOW!!! Right??? I LOVE this card, I tell ya, these sets have been SO fun to stamp with and just pull stuff outta ya that you had NO IDEA was in there!!! LOL I feel like SUCH a big girl stamper!!! :)

I used some of my Favorite DP from MFT, Chocolate Kiss , for this card, I got a new embossing folder the other day and used it also... on the BIG nestie heart... I added some ribbon to the back to give it that HOT Doily look. The Polkie Dottie ribbon, yep... MFT.... and that image... it comes from the Newest WTG Bottom of my Heart set... YES! If you missed out on it during the VIP now is your chance to swoop this baby up... It has SO many great images to use... I chose to keep mine fairly simple and just use the box of chocolate... it's been covered in clear glaze pen, white ink pen, glitter pen etc... TONS of details in this card. I nestied it out with a new die... cant remember the name... LOL Well, that is it for me for NOW.... heh! heh! heh!!! I have ONE MORE POST... it's for the **insert trumpet sound here** BLOG HOP AND SHOP!!!!! Just you wait... I went GREEN on ya'all!!!! LOL
