Let it Snowman

Here is my Let it Snow, Snow, Snow card for BarbaraLynn's snow swap.  MFT CS, SU! Sheets, SU Punch and doodlebug glitter brads were added.  There is a sheet of paper cut to fit the inside of the card to cover up those NASTY BRAD BUTTS!!!!  UGH!  I HATE those things!!!!!

This is the card I made for BarbaraLynn's Santa Swap.  SU! Riding Hood Red paper (the best red EVER from them) and some unknown maker sparkly snowflake paper, the black is from PTI.  The stamp is one from Prickly Pear.  Viva Pearl Pens in the top right corner, Glossy accents on his lenses and some SUPER AWESOME Sparkly Ribbon from I {heart} Papers, I got it in white too!  LOL

Nutcracker in Purple

My order from Waltzing Mouse Stamps came today... I LOVE this stamp set... It's called Nutcracker Sweet. 

I used some Basic Grey- Basic White DP, some Baby Braddies from MFT and Taylors Tiny Twinkles on the tree.  The rest is coloring with Copics, in Purple hues...

OH!!!  SEE THAT RIBBON????  OH YUMMMM!!!!!  I got that yesterday at Art & Soul up in Olympia when I met Jennifer (JenJoy71) for the first time... it's Corduroy ribbon from May Arts in what else... PURPLE!!!! :)

There you have it all of my 12 spots for the You Name It Card swap that I was in over on SCS... WHEW!!!!  Now to get these suckers in a box and mailed.... THAT is sometimes the HARDEST part... LOL  all spots were a 5+1 swap so there are 72 cards going postal... 6 of each design!!!!

MFT WSC Create a Scene-KelliJo

Well for this weeks WSC we were to create a scene.  I thunked and thunked and BAM!  I came up with this idea... I used MFT Fallin For You, and Grow Love Plant a tree and the Tree dienamic, along with the leaves, LOTS of leaves...WTG has apparently gotten too much fresh air and is delirious.  Do you know what all is IN a pile of leaves ???  **blech** but there she is rollin around in 'em.  Just look at her feet... **sigh**
Clouds were sponged onto the back ground using SU Chalk, then gray felt clouds using the cloud dienamic were made.  A bit of grass dieing green felt along with the grass dienamic were also used. 
Check out her Flannel shirt... tee hee... I colored with copics and then used my blender pen and created the flannel lines in her shirt. :)  Smart huh?  LOL

Here is the completed "Scene"

I took some 12x12 chipboard that I got several months ago at M's on clearance, cut a hole outta the center and then proceeded to stamp the chipboard with Rich Cocoa Ink using my Weathered Wood BG Stamp by Judi-Kins.  Added two coats of Clear EP and viola!  Instant Wood Frame.

I'm thinkin this baby might possibly be the next Mona Lisa... Watchou think????

That's it for me... I had best go get the desk cleaned off... it is TRASHED...

Oh How I LOOOOVE My Kraftin Kimmie stamps... I mean SERIOUSLY.... how can you not love these lil sassy lassies???? They are stinkin' ADOREABLE!!!!!!! **is that spelled right???**

Anywho... Kimmie's Pre Release Challenge is to make a GIRLY CARD... she said to BLING IT UP...Glitter, Bling, Pink etc... well... I have NO CONTROL once given permission to use glitter, I LOVE that stuff... SO I USED IT!!!! TONS OF IT!!!!! LOL

Kate sent me these glitter papers which I ADORE and then I used me some TCP Chunky Glitter on her lil outfit, and peacock feathers. Some MFT Bling Adornments and some nesties... the DP was run through the CB using TH Flourish folder, The hot pink foiled paper that I covered up, grrr, was run through the Heart CB folder... MFT Flower dies and Ribbon were also used...

SO... GIRLY???? or GAWDY???? You pick.... LOL

I remember sitting in front of the TV doing Hailey's hair for school... Bub was down the hall getting ready for school, the first plane had hit and it was being broadcasted as a late breaking story...all of a sudden, here came plane #2.... The Horror.... I sat shocked and began crying...

Let all people know... you may have hurt us but you did NOT BREAK US!!!! Our Young Men and Women of the Military stand ready to protect us all!!!! Moms, Dads, Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, Neighbors and Friends... As Lee Greenwood said it best...

The Brady Bunch! LOL

This card is for Kate's (Celestial_Stamper) swap over on SCS called "Hey Lucy! I'm Home!" it is Retro TV... what is more CLASSIC TV then the Brady Bunch??? NUTTIN..... LOL

I was able to accomplish 2 things with this card... One) succeeded at making the Brady Bunch and Two) I inked up some never inked stamps !!!! LOL

This card is ENTIRELY MFT except for Poor Old Alice, that is a Bella...

Here's My Soldier Boy!!!!!

MFT WSC Back to School Blues-NOT!!!!

It's time for another MFT Wednesday Stamp Club (WSC) challenge... this week it's called Back to School Blues... I add, "NOT!" to that sentiment... I laughed this morning after dropping Hailey off at High School, she's a Sophomore this year! There were Mom's on the corner of the grade school, waving and blowing kisses and wiping their eyes! LOL NOT ME!!!!! I am THRILLED to have the house *somewhat* to myself...well until Dave announced he got laid off again but that is a whole 'nother story...

I used my "Are We There Yet" Pure Innocence. This lil cutie is SO much fun to stamp... tons of accessories... including this little wheelie backpack...you know the UN cool ones that you buy for your kids to save Chiropractic trips and they REFUSE to use...yes, experience talking here... but THIS lil PI is a GOOD GIRL...she's using hers!!! ;) OK, check out her hand bag... I did reverse masking on this and used a $1 stamp that I got as a Thank you gift in a swap (Thanks Veronica)... Hailey actually has a bag IDENTICAL to this one... bling included!!!! YAY ME!!!! :)

TONS of Dienamics on this card, the NEW Bracket die, Rounded flower die, then the good ol grass, clouds, mini scallop and sun dies... I SEWED them together, yes, threaded a needle with linen thread from TCP and sewed those babies together, with ALL that felt I used a Red liner dot from Jody to hold them secure... you cant really see it in the picture but I chalked on some clouds using the cloud die as a template, SUPER cute... The DP is from I {heart} Paper called "Night Light" by October Afternoon. that was mounted onto PTI Pure Poppy and THAT was mounted onto SU! Pacific Point. The sentiment (my thoughts exactly today) comes from MFT's CHA set called Happy Days! There are 3 Bling Adornments on this card, her hair barrette and on the Zebra bag!

All in all I LOVE this card!!!! Makes me smile and giggle!!!! :)

I used a variety of DP's to complete this card and the base is PTI Pure Poppy...

I used a sentiment as my main focus. The sentiment is from the Verve stamps set "Christmas in the Air"

Powder Keg black is the EP I used to give it some pop and some MFT Ribbon and button, along with Bling 'bers for the tag....

Wedding Pics LOL

LOL!!! OK, so Matt and Bub have been friends since 3rd grade, neither one think twice about having a little bit of fun, so when the Money dance came around today, Bub was game to dance with Matt and of course Matt said, "I'll do anything for a buck!" LOL Not sure which one is leading however, they danced and danced and danced... Bub was a little bit worried as no one seemed to want to cut in on them! LOL

Hailey of course thinks of Matt as her other brother so it was her turn to dance with Matt...

You can see his Bride Heather in the background, dancing with I believe her sister...

The couple was SO cute, and looked SO happy, I Wish them nothing but the best for MANY years to come... hard to believe my "other son" is married!!!!! :(

Kraftin' Kimmie #44 Challenge~KJ

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge time... is this Miles the Mouse not adorable?? Its from last months release and I had to have him...

I decided to use the CB Punkin folder but flipped it over to make it debossed... and some Basic Grey "Eerie" DP, MFT Orange Fizz and Black CS, nesties, copics, and a phrase from KK's Halloween sentiment set...

Tryin my hand at the coloring with copics to give dimension, I think I done good!!!! ;)

It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges, Challenge!!! This week it's about Books...

I used the Framed Greetings Dienamic and stamped a phrase from the MFT set "I {heart} Books", used some DP that had a page from a story on it, some colored DP that has letters, then used the MFT Flower Trio Dienamic on some actual book pages, again using my Father in laws romance novel...LOL!!! He loves those things!!!! Anyway...

Some MFT Crocheted ribbon, PTI Kraft, MFT Hot Fudge and some misc pink brads and done!

Super fast and super fun!

Well, NOW I've gone and done it...

Jeanne S from SCS is on the cover of a magazine for cards I bought the other day, remember my Jolinne post? Well, I cant get her card outta my head, it was the CUTEST lil fuzzy hedgehog... I am NOT turning Hedgehog lover... NOPE!!! I have placed my first order for Flower Soft... AAACK!!!! I had a jar when it first came out, figured glue sprinkle easy peasy... yea umm, not so much, you see NOW I have watched a video on Flower Soft TV (yes it exists) and learned that you dump the jar into a bigger bowl and "stir" it up to fluff it up... so whenI dumped mine and it bounced around my card and desk then made a mess, NOW I KNOW WHY!!!!!

SO, I am on the Flower Soft Band Wagon... so, for those that LOVE ME... LIE TO ME when I post a card using Flower Soft! LOL

Just a heads up of what's to come... FINGERS CROSSED it's KJ PROOF!!!!! I REALLY like that look... and it will probably be like Copics, must practice practice practice... a LIGHT HAND with the glue... UH OH! I was never a light handed glue-er and am still not, so NOTE TO SELF.....
