Bub the Werewolf!

OK, so this AM when Bub got up he made me laugh SO hard... he told me that people were asking him to pose with them cuz he looked like one of the characters in Twilight... the werewolf one... I have NO IDEA the name as I'm NOT a Twi-Freak! LOL

SO... I made him change BACK into his work shirt to pose in the woods, I wanted to see if he'd SPARKLE... but then he told me that the Vampires "sparkle" NOT the werewolves.... **sigh**

He traded in his shirt at work for one that hadn't been washed yet so that he could BREATHE!!!!! LMAO It apparently shrunk a BUNCH cuz it was WAY tighter when he went to work!!!!!

Year of Flowers Cards

This is the group of cards that I made for Work. It is for an auction to raise money for needy families in the Olympia area.

Flourishes Year of Flowers 1,2 & 3 sets were used. The card base is PTI White and then MFT, PTI and SU! CS were used as the matting after being run through my CB with the Swiss Dot embossing folder, matching ribbons were added. Images were colored with Copics and glitter pen for highlights.

A very simple design and perfect for having to make a series of cards!

MFTWSC 063010

It's Triple Ribbon Challenge Week for MFT WSC. I decided I HAD to use my ADOREABLE Fred Bear with Butterflies for this challenge. This is a CAS Card in MY book. LOL!

I took some YUMMY Ribbon that Michele (Delfinaus on SCS) sent me as a Thank you for my Ribbon purchase and used my Jumbo Scallop Die-Namic and some MFT Chocolate Kiss Ribbon. I secured those to the MFT Scalloped Card and added some Clear Bling Adornments to the scallop, an extra bit of security for the ribbon too, since they are both sheer. For my 3rd ribbon I used some Green Ruffly Ribbon from the MFT Garden Collection (YUMM), made two rows to mimic grass!

I stamped Fred directly onto the card and colored him with Copics. Added some butterflies colored and Spica'ed.

Stamped the sentiment, cut off the end to look like a banner added a button from the "I Want Candy" button collection from MFT, added some of Jody's dimensionals and gave it a bump up. A Bit of MS Cooking thread to dress the button and DONE!

Christmas Cards 2010

Here are the two cards I did for a swap on SCS. One is a good ole Shaker card using IO Shaker circles and Yellow Bicycle papers. The second is a Fave of mine, Black and White Christmas Cards. I used SU! Black CS along with PTI White, some MFT Crystals and the stamp is a 2002 Northwoods stamp.

June Sunburn

Yes, I know... one should learn from PAST issues with the sun... but OMG I was SO not thinking about it at 0700... figured I'd be FINE but come 2 in the afternoon the "fine" had begun to hurt... well, needless to say.... I GOT A SUNBURN... Figured I'd share my pain on the ol bloggity blog... LOL It was tough but managed to get BOTH Thighs in the picture and then put on the Tanktop I was wearing yesterday (ugh, damn bra straps) to take the pic... I REALLY want a shower but am SO not ready to bring on more heat to the limbs, so you will have to excuse the bed head! :)

MFT WSC 062310 felt and Cork

Here is my card for this weeks MFT WSC Challenge to use Felt and Cork...

I used the sentiment out of the New Jolinne "In My Garden" set, along with some paper I found at M's called ATD "Wonderland", it's a foiled batch of Fun... bugs, flowers etc... I also used some of my clearance paper from my local LSS made by Prism, MFT Felt K&Co Cork and nesties.

I inked up a dauber with Angel Pink memento ink added some MFT Glitter Garnishments and DONE!

Quite a cute card for being SO simple! :)

Taylored Expressions Blast From the Past~KelliJo

It's TIME!!!!! Taylored Expressions is having their 2nd Blast from the Past Blog Hop and I am playing again but THIS TIME... ON TIME!!!! LOL AM...PM.... who'da thunk it was THAT big of a time difference??? **wink wink**

Anyway, on to my card: I used the OH SO Catch My Eye when it was new "Chill-Ax" set from Talyored Expressions. We were challenged for this hop based on a picture and since I'm a bit "challenged" in linking Just take my word for it, I DID IT!!!!! ;)

Red, Yellow, Blue and Green! YUP!!!!

SO I cut my card into a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 in base, cut strips of PI Poppy Red, Lemon Tart, MFT Snow Cone and Sour Green Apple CS and mounted them onto my PI White Card Base.

GASP! I used my previously hoarded TE Handmade buttons threaded some MFT Ribbon through them (easy peasy) ...

I stamped the drink stamp 3 times and colored then cut them out, I added Glassy Gel pen to give them some shimmer, some white gel pen for *pow*, some Glitter Pen for *ooo* LOL The drinks were popped up using Jody's Dimensionals onto a piece of PI White that I stamped some lemon and lime stamps in Memento Pear Tart and Dandelion. Traced the outlines with some more Glitter Pen. I stamped the inside with the same lemon and lime pieces but stamped them off first for a soft affect and stamped the phrase from the Chill-Ax set Chillax, Chickie to the inside down towards the bottom so that you have room to yakkity yak on the card! :)

Hailey's First Varsity at Bat

Is that not THE cutest grin you've ever seen? She was SO excited to get called up to bat...she had been playing JV and got called up to Varsity right before Districts. This is the District game and Coach Keen called her up to bat. She was THRILLED and SCARED SPITLESS... LOL

Unfortunately I didn't realise what was going on in time to snap this pic myself, tee hee, so I took a picture of the picture that was attached to her State Tournament trip goodie bag... YUP! Chehalis Bearcat Fastpitch won Districts, Regional Districts and took 3rd in the State of Washington 2A FAstpitch Tournament!!!!

WAHOOOO !!!!! LOVE THEM BEARCATS!!!!! And that CA-UTE Hailey Brooke too!!! ;)
