Matt thought I meant 7AM to deliver but it was actually 7PM... LOL!!! He took her to Red Lobster and I stalked the porch, only had ONE neighbor as if they could "help" me!!! LMAO!!!! Gotta love neighborhood watch!! :)

Joanne Basile is having a bit o blog goodness on her blog right HERE! SO, since it popped up on my email update (finally LOL) I decided I wanted to play along since it is my day off after a LONG LONG Week and a couple OT shifts thrown in there too...

I used the new MFT Set Going Green. Jessie Rone said that the WTG was a version of Joanne for ONE REASON... I guessed her skinny lil butt and was right, so WHY WOULD I NOT chose this set for Joanne's challenge??? LOL

OK, my card uses PTI Craft, DP from a November sale at M's called Farmer's Market, MFT Bling button ribbon scalloped Dienamics and WTG, Nesties Deckled, Karen Foster sticky backed Cork, and of course Jody's Boosters (LOVE these things).

Fingers crossed for some winnin vibes!!!!! :) I could use a couple Gift cards... there are a COUPLE Cat's stamps and MFT Stamps I dont own yet... NOT MANY but a few!!!! ;)

Hey There TSG Friends!!!! As you have found out it's Jessica's Birthday... I hope you arrived from THE Holly's blog! If not.... you REALLY need to go back to Chris' Blog, and check out ALL THE LOVE that we are showing to Jessica...pppsssstttt..... in case you are paying attention and realise I am NOT a Trendsetter! YAY YOU!!! BUT... YAY ME!!!! Holly is letting me play along and she even told me I could BE a Trendsetter for the Hop! LMAO!!! SO... although I'm not one to cave under pressure, I sure am nervous about being one of THEM for the night! **snicker** SO... I'll do what all good card makers do... DRIVE ON!!!! SO, I decided to go with the obvious choice in stamps for this card. It's from the Make a Wish set. I stamped the 4 cupcakes, colored them and then took some Cat's Pajama's chunky glitter to give them some SUGARY LOVE!!!!! I used papers from MFT Hot Fudge for the base and matting and then used My Mind's Eye-Penny Lane for my DP... Jessica LOVES MME and she loves greens so I gave her both!!!!!

Jessica, I TOTALLY wish you the bestest Birthday EVER!!!! And hopefully from the love you are seeing on the blogs of your trendsetters you will realise just how SPECIAL YOU ARE!!!!!

Christmas SFYTT Card~KJ

WAHOO!!! I finally was able to play along with the SFYTT this week. I have a bunch of items on this card that I have had for awhile now and this was the PERFECT time to use them!!!! The paper came from Taylored Expressions kit from last Christmas. I used Kraft from PTI as the base and decided to use the pink from the TE kit as my matting instead of brown, black or kraft like normal. I think it's a good twist, personally! ;) I used SU!'s Ornament punch, twice and mounted the pink ornament on top of the Kraft ornament, then stuck a lil bit of gold cording for the hanger. I covered the pink ornament and the Mulberry flowers that I got from my bestie Kate in Shimmers BLINGZ in Poinsettia Pink. ooo the are shiny..... :) The sentiment was actually a clearance stamp from M's this year. If you take a close look at the close up shot you can see I mimiced the dottie BG of the stamp with my CB Swiss Dot folder. Some MFT Pink satin ribbon and Viola! All of this goodness has some of Jody's TOTALLY COOL, cant live without Sticky Stuff....

I'm pretty proud of this card and the way it turned out and this sketch was a BREEZE to use!!! YAY Gotta love THAT.... LOL!!!!

Our weather has SUCKED so YES! Christmas Card it is!!!! tee hee!

This week on the MFT Forum the challenge is watercoloring. Using the MFT Water Color Wonder paper makes this a BREEZE!!!! I used my Prisma watercolor pencils, some MFT Hot Fudge CS, the new MFT Twill and dienamics. I used DCWV Flower Shower DP and some Basic Grey Pearls that my Bestie Kate sent to me, and see that SPARKLY GRASS??? YUP! It's AWESOME glitter paper that Kate sent to me too and I used the newest Dienamic Die to cut out the grass!!!!

I used some baubles as the shakers and placed the christmas tree inside the house! :)

Here she is.... Miss Hailey Brooke!!!! WAHOO!!!!! She got in to run in the game starting out on 2nd base, making it to 3rd then the batter hit a line drive to the pitcher! Boo Hiss... no pic of crossing the plate!!!! :( Don't she look cool????

She had SO much fun, and can't wait to be a Varsity player from the start!!!! Watch out bloggers, I'll be hammering you with pics!!! :)

PS We won the game 3-1. Districts start Thursday at 4PM, so I'm gonna have to bust my hump to get to Chehalis from work!

Sitting Pretty with Daisies

Awwww, aint she perty???? :) This is my card for this weeks WSC Challenge over at SCS. You can get the details to play along right here.

I decided to ink up my MFT Sitting Pretty Jolinne for the first time. This card is PROOF Hoarding is a GOOD THING... see that vellum? I have had that since making invitations for Hailey's 6th Birthday party... she's 15 now!!! LOL It's great vellum from K&Co, and the other day while "browsing" M's I spied these Jolee's Boutique thingies. It is a pack of 6 different flowers and I chose to use the Daisy cuz, DUH! Look at my vellum.... LOL The flower was colored with Copics, which is the challenge for this week, altering your embellies to make them match your project...

Jolinne actually holds a rose but that would NOT matchy match the card so I found my lil daisy stamp, stamped and colored it, cut it out and mounted it over the top of the rose! Smart huh? ;)

INSTANT FRIENDSHIP!!!! I helped spread the word to my fellow on line Stamp Addicts and Jessica became an instant success!!!!

Jessica has grown leaps and bounds stretched her wings and is flying high!!! I am SO proud of her and TOTALLY HAPPY FOR HER!!!!! CONGRATS JESSICA!!!!! YOU AND THERE SHE GOES ROCKS!!!!!!!

MFT Guest DT Challenge for May

Well, it's that time again to be a dreamer... it's the Guest DT Challenge over at MFT Stamps! The lucky winner... YUP!!! Get's to be FAMOUS for a month!!! LOL

The challenge put on by Julie and Sherrie is to use Material or Felt on your project. SO... diggin in my stash o stuffs I found these SUPER old Making Memories Pockets. They came with several different styles and I picked GINGHAM... I LOOOOOVE Gingham!!! Kate sent me some more of her stores AWESOME DP and so I had to use it for my Picnic WTG!!!! I did have to use a bit of Tim Holtz distress ink to make the DP match the pocket as the DP was a bright white gingham. I also added a bit o pizzazz to my pocket by taking some MFT Lovin from the Oven Ribbon/Lace and then carefully threading some black twine in and out of the holes of the lace and mounting it on to the pocket!!!

I mounted some of the DP onto Black CS for my card base then took strips of another DP and mounted that onto black CS, used Jody's boosters and some baby braddies from MFT. I stamped and Paper Pieced WTG and used the base DP for her Sun Dress... I figured there aint NO such thing as a picinica without out Ants, eh boo boo? SO I stamped the ants included in the WTG set around the top and bottom of the card and across her sunny lil picinic blanket. Stamped the basket, bread, wine and double grapes. The pocket is holding a Gift Card to Subway (that's the local wahoo sandwich place in my neck o the woods) and your card is an instant Gift! ;)

I GOT INVITED TO PLAY!!!!!!!

OH WHAT FUN!!!! I Tell ya, playing with NEW STUFF from MFT is the BEST ever and when it's a Surprise Invite to play along, well... MORE FUN than a Barrel of Monkeys I tell ya!!!!

This is the NEWEST of the Beloved Flopsey... I have named him Flopsey with an Umbrella, So catchy dontcha think???? OK...

I went shopping in a new site and picked up these YUMMY Ribbons, VELVET Paper, the paper piercing design maker thingie...and of course my New Tim Holtz Die "Tattered Flowers".

I first covered a piece of PTI White Paper with Beacon's 3-in-1 Glue and then dumped some White Fun Flock on it and smashed it down tapped it off then rubbed my finger across it to get the extra clunks off, THEN I stamped the image ON TOP OF the Fun Flock... This FANTABULOUS hint came from KerryJ who was last months Guest DT for MFT... she's pretty darn smart huh? ;)

I stamped the umbrella on pink paper ran it through the Cuttlebug and paper pieced it, stamped his boots on pink paper and pieced them as well. I used some Chunky Glitzy Glitter for the puddle.

Three Glitter Garnishments up in the top right corner Two MFT Buttons, one of which I colored with my Copic Gray3 marker, some black twine stuff to "dress" the buttons. Two strips of a pink and white ribbon topped with this flowery ribbon. Then of course the PERFECT Sentiment... "Remember, it's the rain that makes the flowers grow..." was stamped on the bottom.
