Well Read with Wine!

My Oh My!!!! I am SO tickled with myself!!!! :)

Just look at this beauty!!!! I used my BRAND NEW MFT Well Read WTG, it was the VIP stamp set this month and gets released tomorrow night...

I stamped her on a MFT Perfect Paper Panel. I colored her and different finishing ideas in my head while coloring, so I proceeded to use my Yard Sale Treasure, my SU Piercing pad and template and carefully punched and turned and punched and turned the template to create a nailhead couch... now, is that cute or what... so I added some shading for under the couch, was tempted to add some sparkly fluff for those crafters of us that have "sparkly" dust bunnies but I resisted... :) SO I decide, looks good on its own and proceeded to run it through my Cuttlebug using a nestie... Now, these brads are apparently a BIT thicker than the nestie and there was a moment of UH OH! but, NOPE!!! I dont have to buy ANOTHER CB... it didn't break and now those baby brads look like hammered nail heads! LOL Its all good....

OK, so we all know that WTG LOVES her wine and chocolate so I stamped a couple images from Meet Me at the Cafe and Time for the Bubbly stamp sets... color, cut, glaze and glitter...mount on card.

I stamped the sentiment on to a piece of Perfect Paper Panels and dienamic'ed it out. Then dienamic'ed 2 more pieces using SU! Red from 2 years ago...not purely pom but the other yummy red one... anyway... punched 2 holes more baby braddies... then added the wine bottle to the top. Do you see the wine is sloshing to the side... is that TOTALLY COOL OR WHAT???? LOL

I used some DP I found today in my stash while organizing... like Christmas when I clean... and used some MFT Ribbon and the new dienamic chain border over the top of the ribbon in more of the SU! Red stuff... added 3 crystal Bling Adornments from MFT and viola.... The image and sentiment are all mounted onto the card using Jody's FABULOUS POP DOTS!!!! Aint nuttin better I'm here to tell ya!!!!

OK, I am SO happy about this card, I must rustle up some visitors to come to my blog and check it out!!!! :) Thanks for coming over when asked!!!! **wink wink**

Craft Room re-do... AGAIN!!!!!

Here are my 2 towers the left is Ribbon seperated by colors and the right is 12x12 DP, I weeded through and it all can fit in these drawers now... both of those towers were filled with stamps... Yes, I SERIOUSLY THINNED MY STASH!!!!!

What's left of my Card Stock... I ONLY have MFT, PTI and TE Kits papers now... I am SO stinkin proud of myself!!!!! The metal boxes hold my embellies, and binders are unmounted stamps that are on the Sunday International Cling sheets!!!! :)

Oh the little shelf on the left side... that is my Tim Holtz area...and on the bottom shelf are things needing to be altered.... **sigh**


There's my World in a Nut Shell... its SO much more open and brighter and more apt to get ink on the stamps now that I dont have so many!!!! Just Faves!!!!! :)

This is for Mojo Monday #154!

I used MME papers, MFT Ribbon, TSG Stamps and tee hee, the LID off of my $1 bin Button stash... made the holes big enough to accept the ribbon and tied it off.

Easy peasy, 10 minute card!

I'm really resisting adding bling to the lower right corner as the sketch doesn't call for it. But now that it's loaded I think I might go back and add them! :)

MFT Jolinne In my Garden

I purchased this ribbon a couple weeks ago on my lunch break while having training at the Range which just happens to be next to a LSS :)

Its wired down the middle which makes it SUPER easy to do that crinkley stuff people are doin on their card without a TON of sticky strips... AND it's PRETTY!!!!!

I used my MFT Jolinne "In My Garden" for the first time too! YAY ME!!!!

The paper is almost the last of the prism paper I bought on clearance about 4 months ago **maybe longer with my memory who knows**

Punched some MS Butterflies out with matching cs and colored Jolinne to match also!

Gee, SO matchy matchy I am today huh? Gotta love it!!!! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge #43 "Show us your Pearly Whites"

I got the hairbrained idear to make Babette with White EP and then distress ink her... cut her out with nesties and added my MFT Pearls to her. I think this would be a GREAT Masculine card, now I just need to find a sentiment about "How ya doin' Big Boy!" Mae West style... LOL

I actually have become fond of this card, it's different and I LIKE Different... why be like everyone else right? LOL **I see you nodding your head!** wink wink

COLOR THROWDOWN #107

This week the color palette is Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz

My SU! CS is REAL low as I'm changing over to other brands that I prefer, so I'm wingin' it here... I used Rose Red for the Card Base, then some DP from TE Kit, mounted on PTI CS from a combo pack (unk color ) then used some Crinkly ribbon from May Arts in a matching color, an MFT Earth Button Collection button. My image is from SU! called Roosting... I LOVE ROOSTERS!!!!! 5 coats of UTEE and skipped the freezer, decided I liked it shiny, so there you have it!!!!

Color Throwdown is such a great challenge and gets you thinkin outside the box, sometimes the box totally collapses on me, other times.... well, I kinda like this card! :)

UGH!!! I am SOOO upset... I got the code to post NO PROBLEMO this AM.... I looked when I got up... just like Taylor said it was there... in fact I used it this AM to go 1/2 way through the hop.... I log on here at work to finish they eye candy and the links are GONE!!! **POOF** SERIOUS???? UGH!!!! This blog... I guess I can be happy it is staying ONE COLOR NOW!!!!! *roll eyes*

Taylored Expression Bast from the Past #3~KelliJo

Hello, Hello!!!!! I am excited to be able to play this month, last month too many things cropped up and made me have to cancel out!!! **boo hiss**

But, HERE I AM!!!! LOL This card features the Taylored Expressions set Sprinkled with Love. I has so many delicious things to put sprinkles on.. I chose the sunday as the sketch calls for embellies top and bottom I thought I would make Cherries out of my rolled flower die.... Took some leaf ribbon and cut off a leaf for each adhered with a glue dot some nesties a bit of ribbon from SU! Some glittered Garnishments and Viola! :)

Now here is the hop list of SEVERAL participants.... Get to hoppin.... I know I am headed there myself!!!!

ATC Swap on SCS

I'm in an ATC Swap over on SCS using Pure Innocence Sweeties from MFT. I took my cue from TexasJodyLynn back when this PI was sneek peeked...

I made my bandage out of Prism cardstock and stamped the image onto PTI Cream CS. Colored with Copics. I added some clear glaze to the barette and some Taylored Tiny Twinkles to her shoes.

The paper was CB'ed using the Swiss Dots folder and then the additional piece was distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Ranger.

It's Mojo Monday time... Woot Woot!!!! I love my weekends that allow me to play... This week it's Mojo 153 (click there ;) )

I used my MFT Whose That Garden Girl set and the Cosmo Cricket paper pack, Garden Variety. Alos used on this card are some MFT Dienamics, the ric rac die, MFT Gingham Ribbon, MFT Summer Button (isn't that a COOL button)... and some MFT Baby Braddies from the Chick Flick collection.

The card base is PTI Pure Poppy mountd on MFT Hot Fudge. Some old brads in black that are larger than the baby bradies for the bottom embellie... the squares were created using nesties. All images were stamped with Memento and colored with copics. The tomatoes were clear glazed for that awwwww-Fresh look... LOL I'm thinkin I'm pretty darn smart to put these in order of how a plant grows... Yes, play along with me these are ALL stamps of tomatoes!!!! LOL

YAY!!!! YAY!!!! YAY!!!! I finally have Babette to play with... Michele has her on loan to me while mine is packing her bags to come and live with me, I have started a boarding house for Kraftin Kimmies... Well, I saw Babette and KNEW that this lil gal was a Ho Fo Sho! LOL

I stamped Babette on a MFT Perfect Paper Panel and colored with Copics, and clear glaze and clear Glitter pens. The DP's used are from SU! as I thought it looked kinda saloon-ish and from Little Yellow Bicycle "Sweet Love collection cuz well, I {heart} Babette!!!! I broke out some CB dies for the first time ever and a lil sizzlet for my swirls. Viva Pearl Pens in black were used as were some Taylored Expressions Tiny Twinklettes. The center of the flowers are sporting some Glitter Garnishments from MFT.

Little Peeps~KelliJo

Although I have TONS of swaps to complete I couldn't get myself to start, so I decided to just play and completed a card that fits TWO challenges... tee hee.. sneaky huh? LOL

Color Throwdown and SFYTT are the two challenges this card fits. I did flip the Sketch for SFYTT but Hey! so did the pro's !!!! LOL

I used my brand new Little Peeps Flower Vase by Stamping Bella for this card. She is SO stinkin CUTE!!!!! I love that fresh lil face!!!! :)

The colors for the Throwdown were Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky and Certainly Celery. Although my SU papers are sorted anymore I dont really think this is Certainly Celery but it's REAL close... ;)

So Bling off of the side and I couldn't fit a embellie on the half circle as the sketch calls for so I made an embellie out of the half circle... CREATIVE GENIUS I DO SAY!!!!!! LOL

I used This piece as my inspiration....

I have a Ho Friend who would TOTALLY dig the goodies of the winnings of this... Retro Ho... IF I WIN SHE IS SOOOO GETTING THAT APRON!!!! LOL!!!!!

She calls her Hubby "Ward" need I say more??? I didn't think so...

Anywho, just foolin around with some Black and White dottie DP, Pink Passion (SU!) and some MFT Jewels and a sentiment from Lovin from the Oven. Some M's Roses in pink, some MFT Ribbon for the belt and the sassy straps and DONE!

I've never played in an Etsy challenge before but with a Ho in need... I'm ALL OVER IT!!!!! :)

Birthday Card from TCP-Swanky Challenge

It's time for a Color Challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas forum on SCS. Carole and Joanne are hostessing it and Carole (Bless her Color Lovin Heart) went easy on us this week. Carole is the kinda stamper that chooses in your face bright colors and they are SO gorgeous, just damn near impossible to make work for others LOL so she was NICE and used Candy Apple Red, Kraft and Denim for her color choices for this week.

I decided to use Kraft as my card base and then embossed it with a SU! embossing folder. I then used the curvy sentiment from the set "29 Again!" to represent balloon strings. Then the new cut ups flowers for the "balloons" they have MFT Wood buttons in the center and finished off with TCP Twine. A bit of MS Cooking floss for the red bows on the "strings" and done! YAY!!! I actually got it done ON TIME!!!!!

MFT SHOP & HOP!!!!

It's time my friends... by now the last of the confetti is falling and you can kinda make out the whistle of the Janitor comin in to clean up after all you Junkies who Partied Hardy at Kim's House...

I got ALL DRESSED UP for this party... I LOVE my Black and White cards and this one.... **swoon** is NO exception... You see, remember on day 1 of the sneek peeks I found that LSS up North while looking for the recruiter (who had moved) well, I just KNEW they would be able to help us so we HAD TO GO IN!!!!! **wink wink**

Low and behold, Angels Sang, played their harps and all that Glory when I spied this ribbon... OMG I AM HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE... I knew EXACTLY what I was going to use it for.... My FINAL PROJECT as MFT GUEST DT....

Harvest Girl is SO versatile and I wanted to prove just how much so! I decided to make her into one of those photographs that are black and white and then they just bring in a touch of color, you know like the hair and eyes of a beautiful child playing? Yea, well, I did the same!!!! I used PTI White for my Card Base, some Black and White dotted DP, boosters, wrapped the diamond ribbon, mounted it all to the base. Stamped Whose That Harvest Girl onto a MFT Perfect Paper Panel (white currently sold out), mounted it onto black CS, I then got 3 lil black buttons from my M's $1 button bucket. I grabbed 3 red glitter garnishments from the Chocolate Kiss collection, popped them in the center to distribute the weight of the card and carry on that hint of color...

I can't tell you how HONORED I feel to be able to represent MFT this Month... I was in tears when I read I had won last months Challenge, TEARS OF JOY, and am tearing up now as my Reign has come to an end... NOW I understand why Miss America cries as she makes her final walk down the runway, waving and crying.... Yep, that is what I am doing right now... waving and crying, as I know it's now time for a FABULOUS NEW GUEST DT to take over!!!!! OMG I am excited to see what she does!!!!! SO glad Waterproof mascara was invented...

OK, so I have the HONOR and PRIVILEDGE to lead you to your NEXT Destination on your Shop & Hop Journey... This woman is AMAZING, TALENTED, "SPICY" & just down right AWESOME!!!!!! She has helped me in SO many ways and is ALWAYS helping others... she's got Royalty in her SCS History... an Original Dirty Girl.... YES!!!! It's MY FRIEND (so proud to be able to say that) JODY!!!!!

MFT Day 5~ OO SO CLOSE TO TIME

Can you believe it? The DAY IS HERE... in a few more hours you will be able to SHOP SHOP SHOP!!!!! I know I will be, I have some goodies to get...

For this card I used the Triple Scoop set for the month... "Clearly Sentimental About Harvesting"!

This is SUCH an awesome have to have kinda set!!!!

Now for my card I used MFT Hot Fudge for the CS Base and matting. I used Tim Holtz papers from the Retro Grunge line.

MFT Twill ribbon was given a matchy matchy grunge life using Distress inks on it in Rusty Hinge and Antique Photo, 2 sizes of the 3 available were used (such options with this stuff). I added Baby Braddies (older no longer carried) to the corners of the mattings, all stages were popped up with Jody's Boosters. I dug out an OLD OLD OLD Skeleton Leaf. I used the Framed Greetings Dienamic (currently sold out) and cut it out, stamped a sentiment from the set in it and added braddies to the peaks of the die. I mounted that onto the leaf with another booster. I turned the leaf over and now could see where to put my adhesive where it wouldn't A) Show and B) Leak through... CAREFULLY I used my ATG Gun on the leaf to attach it to the card.

MFT Day 4 Jolinne & SURPRISE!!!!!

Well, well, well... Look at our CUTE Miss Jolinne, sittin there with a cupcake!!!! If she isn't SUPER SWEET then WHAT IS?????

I used MFT Cotton Candy CS and Doodlebug DP, Jolinne was stamped onto a MFT Perfect Paper Panel (white is currently out of stock) and colored with Copics.

Some sparkly pink ribbon was added along with some Viva Pearl Pens, they IRL match exactly, but hey! Whatdaya do when they photo off? *ugh!*

This first one is called "Flappers in a Vespa" LOL

I used BG Lemonade DP and MFT Berrylicious CS, some MFT Ribbon and Summer Glitter Garnishments for embellies!!!!

Some Prism papers for the matting and viola!

Image was stamped onto a MFT Perfect Paper Panel and colored with Copics, Spica clear pen and glitter pen for a bit of BANG on the card! :)

Aren't they just Tres' Chic? I'm thinkin so! :)

This card is using the *new* Hotsy Totsy Birthday!

I saw this image and Over The Hill popped into mind. LOL

HT has her black sparkly party dress on and of course carrying some festive balloons. The were clear spica's or glitter depending on what their color was... like IRL... a bit of white gel pen added for the *shine*! I used nesties to cut her out and then some Black and White DP for the "affair" I layered the nesties on top of each other stacked like and mounted those on top of that DELISH ribbon. It's satin pleated May Arts ribbon... Ummm, YUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!! Viva Pearl Pens for the completed "stylish affair appeal". On the inside I double nestie cut and used that as a frame and used the Clearly Sentimental About Birthdays for this kinda spicy (with style) sentiment! 8)

MFT Sneek Peeks Day 3~ Pure Innocence

Here we are on the Most Anticipated Sneek Peek day... PURE INNOCENCE (AKA: PI's)

This first card I used "Little Angel"
Heidi Grace papers were used along with PTI CS and the Cloud Dienamic.

I colored here with Copics and used Viva Pearl Pens in cream for her lace, buttons and the pearls in the corners.









My 2nd sneek is using "Bunch of Flowers". She's just the cutest! :)

I used PTI CS and MME Penny Lane DP. Some MFT Crocheted Ribbon (currently out of stock), PTI Ribbon and then some MFT Halloween Bling Adornments from last year, yes I hoard... :)

Scalloped nesties were used and then a bit of distressing ink applied.










My last PI card uses "Cute Is What I Do". Ummm, YES!!!! She does "Cute" wonderfully well.... LOL

Daisey Bucket DP and PTI White for the CS, Nesties for the frame and then used my MFT Princess Sheer Ribbon, and MFT Summer Buttons with a bit of twine in them, they were rescued from a previous card that was all wrong wrong wrong... Not here though, they are PERFECT! :)

The Cat's PJ's Inspiration Challenge

Here is my Inspiration Card for the Cat's PJ's forum! I used the new Button Dies and an older wood mounted Sprinkle the Cat stamp. I used the pillow as my inspiration piece I love the geometric feel of the pillow so I copied it with layers of Paper and then some DP to match the printed piece of the pillow.

OK, I have THREE cards for you today... I only have a short time to be a MFT Rock Star and I'm gonna SHINE SHINE SHINE!!!! LOL



My first card... YES! Emma is GOING TO SCHOOL!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! I can hear the tears mixed with sighs of relief from here! **wink wink** I LOVE this set... yes, I often repeat myself when talking MFT Bidnez.... 8)


I stamped my image onto a Cream Perfect Paper Panel and colored the whole image except for the skirt, it was paper pieced with some lil plaid paper I have (SU I think). I distressed the edges with some Tea Dye Distress ink by Tim Holtz. I then grabbed those AWESOME Flash Cards I found about 6 months ago at M's. One side had an elephant on it but I preferred the E e side...it was distressed also. Both pieces were mounted onto Kraft CS, the flash card I carefully trimmed around it with my scissors. I attached some mini clippies from SU! on them and yes! Emma is crooked... it's called "effect" ;) I mounted both pieces onto some DP I got several months ago and it totally makes me smile... remember making line after line of letters? I sure do, I LOVED that!!!!! I took some MFT Twill ribbon, Cream Crochet ribbon(out of stock) and some MS Baking thread and attached it... I decided that all school papers get a bit crunkles while on the bus ride home so mine did too! Did you notice that Emma wrote her name at the top of the page? YEP!!! That is using the Banner Alpha set released last month, I used Memento London Fog to mimic pencil .... **sigh, SO smart I am**

For my Second card Wyatt is skippin school... LOL He decided to load up his wagon with toys and have some fun... typical boy huh? ;)

I used some just received DP and it has a matching stripe side so I took advantage of the matchy matchy as it's a TOUGH blue to match.... Wyatt's toys have clear glaze, spica clear glitter on them to make them stand out... of course he is a tough lil guy so his jean knees are a bit faded...I'm sure Mom has some patches at the ready... I used my awesome Grass Dienamic to allow Wyatt some grass play area. Copper Viva Pearl Pens again were used and kinda look like nails dontcha think? All this was mounted onto a MFT Hot Fudge CS Base.

I think that this has GOT to be my ALL TIME FAVE CARD!!!!! Just look at Fred.... HE'S ROASTING MARSHMELLOWS!!!!! HAHAHAH!!! I LOOOOOVE me some Fred and this is NO Exception... HE ROCKS!!!!!

I wanted Fred to have a PERFECT SETTING, so... I pulled out my Trustee MFT Easel Template and turned it into a Tent, and then created my card, it's a Side Step card...It flew across the room a couple times tryin to figure out the folds then I realised I was MISSING a score... DUH! I stamped some trees from Grow Love plant a tree and then the campfire and Fred from the set. A TON of Felt Grass was cut and mounted on the layers to give it some LUSH DEPTH... that's what you get with this felt... LUSH!!!! I can feel my toes in it now... **sigh** OF course the stars... Yep, MFT Swarovski Crystals
